The last two times I have been to the Food Hall at Fosse Park I have seen Hughes there eating McDonalds. The club are clearly trying to fatten the lad up.

Oh yeah and Jarrett reminds me of Junior Lewis.

Yeah 'cos Izzet was oh so tough.

At times I think Hughes has been excellent. All too often though he withdraws from games and looks lazy. Intelligent footballer, just not committed enough at times. Being lightweight does not mean you're a bad player.

please dont compare izzet to that waste of space, it offends me.
 
What Muzzy lacked in physical presence, he made up for in footballing ability, whereas what Hughes lacks in weight he makes up for in incompetence

I haven't, I've seen him do some great passes in a game where he's been garbage for most of it.

I'd be happy to see him go, one excellent pass every 3 games doesn't make you qualify to play football

I think he was better prior to his injury, perhaps, but think back - at times he's looked far better than the shit thrown at him on this forum. Lewis yes, Hughes no.
 
Maybe Hughes is a 'proper' footballer like Williams was supposed to be, i.e. he looks good when everyone stands off him, and lets him have time to do his fancy passing!
Well in the real world of the Championship most of our fans would probably settle for an intelligent brick outhouse that would command the midfield and be able to make simple passes FORWARDS to one of our players.

No he hasn't. I think until of late people have been too polite of Hughes, the same as Hume.

The same can be said of Maybury, I criticised him from day one saying he'd be found out soon, to which I was roasted at the time and now he's getting slated by everyone.

Believe me, it will happen to Hume soon
 
Don't get me started! I have been slagging Hume for months. I hate it when some fans 'Huuuuuume' him every time the tosser shoots into Row Z when it would have been easier to score!
 
Hume is all running and not much else. so when he stops running he'll really be fecked!
