Went to the Highlight in Leicester last night. It was a special offer only a penny to get in. The drinks were dear (as expected)and the food was pretty terrible but I didn't expect much for £7.00.
The comedians though were really good. Even the woman comic wasn't bad.
If you ever go don't bother with the food and get a few drinks down you in the last Plantagenet before you go in.

The only problem with this is that the venue will probably close down in a year if everyone did that.

I went to Toro Latino in Harborough for Tapas tonight. Very nice food but we were the only ones in there, which is strange as it has always been busy when I've been before.

I went last month - very good food, but was very busy. It was one of those strange Harborough nights when every restaurant was rammed.

I've been to the new Pizza Express - nothing special to report im afraid.

Went to the Horse and hounds in Glen last night. average pub grub really in the 2 for £10 -but much better than the shite I got served up at the Bell Fountain in Wiggy

The best thing about my visit here was that I found a used jonny on my car bonet after I parked around the corner, and yes that was the best thing. Although the rubber was probably less chewy than my 'medium-rare' steak...

Try Signor panza (sp.) further up London Road. Always had a good meal in there.
