9/10 Impressed.

Even more so with a £22 for 3 courses on a Saturday night when the a la carte meal had mains priced at £18.

Nice eye candy too.

Is that an offer or just what yours came to? Would've expected it to be a lot more expensive than that.

It's a set menu. That was the price for Thursday's to Saturday's I think. It was £16 for 2 courses and then it's cheaper on Mondays to Thursdays. Sunday dinners were 3 courses for £18. The menu only has four choices per course that was the a la carte opinion or the set menu.

Where they gain back is drinks. £3.50 for a bottle of Peroni.

It surprised us as we told to expect it to be extremely expensive and diddy portions (perfectly sized for me on a 3 course option).

Gala Casino. ****ing awful service . Ordered 6 mains (no not all for me) they managed to get one meal correct . Two people had finished before the others even got theirs. It even took 20 minutes for a bowl of fookin salad. The sad thing is the food was quite good. 1/10

Without trawling back through over 900 posts could someone point me in the right direction of a good restaurant for mine & my girlfriends anniversary?

Preferably not in the City Centre but willing to consider it.

Not fussed on a specific type of food.
 
CIni -enderby all day long PDS not too far for you and spot on for a special occasion. Make sure you do actually turn up though :-)

Apologies - I even arranged with MHS at the start of the month to come along, since my baby has been born I've lost track of time!
 
Doesn't read well! Must have changed hands since I last went which was probably 4-5 months ago. I'd be suprised though as it was family run from opening.
 
You are right Duzza dont whats occurring there. I havent been for 6 months Pds give it a miss and take her to the Goose in Gilmorton. Failing that Manor 2 for 1 :icon_lol:
