Wouldn't rush it as next manager appointal is crucial, to say the least. We need a) time to think it through and b) several candidates to choose from, so we don't end up with the first one that said yes. More managers might be available in the summer.

Do you think the owners haven't already thought about Pearson's successor, and contacted agents etc to see who would be interested in the job?

Terrible, if you think otherwise then you must have been watching a different game!

Schmeichel and James the only players to come out with credit really after that but James was ****ed after an hour but such a shame Drinkwater was so bad and had to come off instead.

We were always massively up against it after the sending off but we couldn't even keep the ball for more than 2 or 3 passes for which there is no excuse.

If you think that was terrible you must have been watching a different game. Ooh, I wonder which game you were watching.

Several people have said that but I don't understand why it's a sensible thing to do.

Surely if he's going to be sacked it's better to get someone new in now so he can have a good look at the players, so he knows what he needs to do in the transfer market in the summer.

Sound point but I don't think for a second that the issue is now about Pearson. He's simply hopeless and at one level it would be a kindness to him to sack him over the weekend.

The issue is one of finding a manager to take the club forward. If one exists! It's a squad that is nor nearly as good as we wanted to believe and one that looks unmotivated through their access to big money for poor work.

If there is someone suitable bring him in now - otherwise we will have to wait till the best possible candidate can be appointed.

I expected us to win this game - but definitely not get into the play offs. Maybe we would have won if Morgan hadn't got himself sent off. It doesn't matter anyway. Everything Pearson does goes wrong. A bad manager and an unlucky manager.

Probably, but I'd think a lot of managers could only give conditionary promises at this stage, i.e. "I'll come if we don't go up". Therefore, we might end up with someone who's available but not the one we need.

We should be realistic. Yes we might have won with 11 men but: the manager persisted with two strikers but one didn't seem to touch the ball or run after it much. Wood flattered to deceive in the earlier games maybe?
Only Nugent and Knockaert ran their hearts out. Drinkwater and his replacement, King, totally anonymous.

I've said it before, this is the reason I really don't enjoy going to matches anymore and the main reason I'm not renewing my season ticket. If I wanted to pay £30 odd quid a month to listen to boorish ****s whinge about everything, I'd subscribe to the Mail.

If it means you'll post less about "so called fans" I'm all for it.

Oh lolz is me.

So, they played with pashun and that means it was a good team performance?

OK, I'll get on board. Altogether now: Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuume.

If we miss the playoffs this will be one of the most disappointing seasons in our history.

Captilulation the likes I've rarely witnessed in sports.

You are the first person to mention 'pashun'... :icon_roll

Did I mention your nice new avatar? It's really rather good.

Your loyalty is incredible and admirable.

But you generally leave the impression if the players sat down on the grass and just watched the opposition knock the ball into the net for fun that you would justify it on the grounds that they were knackered from giving their all . Also, I can't imagine any circumstances whatsoever where you would recognise the need for a change of manager.

That's poor even by your low standards. The kids in your playground could come out with something better than that.

Worse then getting relegated to League 1 for the first time in our history?

You seem relatively nonplussed about things Willow.

Not concerned about form that Sousa bettered?

Since when did Sousa get us into the play offs? As far as I can remember we were in the relegation zone...
