Read on the BBC website Colin complaining Gallagher was "three yards" inside the penalty area when the spot kick was taking and "brushed pass the ref" so he must've seen it, and compared this lack of rule enforcement to the beach ball incident.
 
On a side note, did anyone else think Sears looked poor last night? I was highly rating him to my dad before, only for him to look like a lost sheep.
 
McGivern has clearly been schooled by Wayne Brown whilst he's been here. Needs to sort out his passing. Messers. Hobbs impressed again, his reading of the game is top notch and Brown looked interested last night.
 
Poor performance masked only by a lucky rebound and one piece of sublime skill. Fryatt is totally lacking in confidence. Nielson was his usual inpet self. Waghorn was forever wandering offside. It just needs a goalscorer and few tweeks in midfield. Whichever way you look at the Howard/Fryatt partnership aint working and doesnt look it ever will again.
 
Another truly awful game which was won by a brilliant second half performnace by Paul Gallagher and three points is very important and we really needed to win last night. I think CP were absolute shite and actually can't believe how shite some of out oppostion has been this season. Defence looked strong however I still think that we need to put a proper winger on the right and let Oakley go back in the middle as I really don't think he is a winger as he lacks pace and his deliveres have not been the best recently. McGivern looked confortable at left back but Morrison should definetly be our first choice right back. So badly wanted DJ to score his one on one but ah well ! Overall thought terrible game but three points of the top of the league is very pleasing.

Did you go to the same game as me?

It was a good game. Palace were not shite. They were a pacy, well organised team, who must have gone in at half time wondering why they were not 2-0 up.

Whenever we attacked their goal and put in a cross, there was one or none of our players there waiting for it.

When they attacked us, frequently, there was always at least four Palace players in our box waiting for that cross.

Erm was it at the Walkers stadium ? Because I went to the game there.

It was a shite game, the first half ws truly woeful. Name one pacey player they had apart from Sears who was not even that fast, they just hoofed it to Alan Lee all game, they had a good centre midfielder N'Diaye who played pretty well and that is about it.
 
Am i the only one who is worried by the fact that play breaks down so often because Fryatt is offside or Howard fouls? Not every ref and lino can be wrong.
 
So if they were not pacy, why did I keep seeing 4 or 5 Palace players in our box every time they attacked us. Our odd 'pacy' attacker left the rest of our team struggling to try and catch up!

His passing was aweful all game. At one point he misplaced a 3/4 yard pass to Waghorn and it went out for a throw in and he had a go at Waghorn!

We were poor and they countered us well first half. We certainly weren't shit (barring Oakley) second half.

I still can't believe fans were booing at half time, and we think 'Boro fans are bad.

If we could play as well for 90 mins as we did in the second half, I think we would deservedly beat anyone in this league.
