One of the finest single footballing 'event' I've ever been too

Promotions, play off finals, cup finals, and some of the extraordinary matches of the great escape and last season's miracle

That whole experience was right up there with every one of them

Truly, truly wonderful in every way

I watched it in a pub in London. It was incredible.

  • The Foxes are the first English side to overcome a first leg defeat against Spanish opposition in the Champions League knockout stages since Chelsea in 2005 (v Barcelona).
  • Riyad Mahrez has been directly involved in six of Leicester's 10 Champions League goals this season (four goals and two assists).
  • The Algerian's assist means he has either scored or assisted in consecutive games for Leicester for the first time since November 2016.
  • Kasper Schmeichel has saved both of his penalties in the Champions League this season, one in each leg against Sevilla.
  • Sevilla are the first team to miss a penalty in each leg of a Champions League knockout round since Bayern Munich in 2013-14 (v Arsenal).
  • The game's opening goal was the 48th shot Sevilla had faced away from home in the Champions League this season, but the first goal they conceded.
  • Wes Morgan became the first Jamaican player to score in a Champions League game.

It hasn't really sunk in. We are in the last eight of the European Cup. Wow.

What a night. What an atmosphere. Up there with the most enjoyable individual games I've seen live. Beating Palace and Tranmere at Wembley. The victory parade games against Doncaster, QPR, and Everton. The latter is the only one which obviously beats it for 'once in a lifetime-ness'.

The quarter finals of the European Cup. Drink it in everybody. Drink it in.

I've lost my voice.

Imagine being told your not good enough for Forest and Villa and then scoring the goals in the Champions ****ing League!

Mind-bending, surreal, hypnagogic, time-slowing stuff that was.

Sharing nights like this with my old man are everything, especially as he had a heart attack 3 weeks ago and this was his 1st game back (sooner than I would like but no chance keeping him away from this)

I can't put into words how special that was.

Tonight, the Champions League is everything and non of us would swap Leicester City for any club in the world.

****ing hell

From the other side - I was there with my son. And seeing him trying to fix every moment in his mind brought me close to tears.

Chuft to bits you celebrated with your old man . its times like thiswe cherish, I was on the phone to my son and father during and after the game there is nothing quite like the beautiful game that brings you together l, ecstatic tonight had a scouser in the bar tonight singing our praises, Juventus next please

Mahrez not at his best attacking wise tonight (but not bad by any means) but absolutely worked his bollocks off. They all did. Great to see.

I was there tonight with one of my brothers and my dad. It was just a special evening.

The Everton game, last season, was an occasion. A once in a lifetime day, that was about so much more than the match itself. It will always be my favourite ever Leicester match.

Tonight, as a stand-alone game, was special. Again, a once in a lifetime match, but for different reasons. It was just glorious.

I may have misjudged this one.

I can only type as my voice is fecked. Got a bit carried away.

I think I get it now.

I was waiting for your reply. Glad you can admit when you're wrong! ;)

What a night. Just got home after a long trip back with diversions on the M1, A43, M40 and M4.

All worth it! Still buzzing even now too much to sleep yet. I'll be knackered tomorrow and possibly won't be able to speak, but worth every bit for a night that will live long, long in the memory.
