Feeling rather excited now, the last time we were in this position I had to watch in Brisbane with a handful of Foxes, It was good but I seriously wished I was there. When we played Stoke I was in New Zealand and that was dreadful to watch so far away.

Tonight I'll be there for my first Play-off match since we last won the damn things, I just hope we have a better start than last time in the home leg.

Come on you Blues!!!
 
I shall be watching tonight from home. I'm in Swanage diving at the weeken so will have to try and find a pub that's showing the second leg. Mind you, with a Premier League game on at the same time I imagine I might struggle.

I used go there often and I'm sure there was a bar owned by a city fan, that was a while back mind.

Just out of interest what is the diving like down there?

It will be the first dive I've done out of Swanage, planning on diving the Kyarra in the morning and either the pier in the afternoon or the Betsy Anna and do the pier on Sunday morning. It is a very popular place to dive from though so I guess it can't be that bad.
 
Today is the day then, would feel a lot more excited if I hadn't been struck with the very serious, man-flu, but still can't wait and full of hope but with no expectations.

This time last week, few if any would have predicted we would be playing again tonight, so anything that happens in these final 2 (3 would be nice) games is a bonus in my opinion.

Really is a lottery now and it is there for any of the 4 teams to take though I've always said I'd much rather go into the play-offs finishing 6th and sneaking in rather than 3rd and just missing out on auto.

Not saying it guarantees anything but with Watford beating us twice already this season and knowing how stupid football can be, no reason why we can't get to Wembley.

Fingers crossed we have more than 35 mins in this game as it will need more than that to beat a decent team like Watford.

When we played the second leg at Cardiff, I was deep down in darkest Tunisia, walking the empty streets in the search for Al Jazeera +7 (or something like that). At last, I saw a light - it was a small bar with a few plastic chairs and a small TV in the corner. I persuaded the owner to change to our game for the penalty shoot-out (the old Tunisian men with the hookah pipes grumbled but I didn't take notice).

When it was all over, I stumbled outside into the warm North African night, and with tears in my eyes I turned around to see a small, painted banner above the café:

Café Wembley.

I do now realise what an überjinx this was, so I shall tonight watch the game at Bar Twint Owers. Nothing will stop us now.

Oh how I'd love to be there today.

Can't help but think back to previous playoff games, but the Tranmere one keeps pushing itself to the front of my mind. Speedie coming off the bench, scoring a dubious late winner, getting into a fight with their notoriously psychotic goalkeeper, getting sent off and missing the final.

An eventful. 15 minutes. My young brain was fried by the end. I miss Filbo.

Which would have tought him a lesson. Good omens are fake, bad omens are the real deal
 
Need a win tonight if we're to progress I think.

I'd be a bit nervous even with a one goal lead going into the second leg, so hoping for a 2 (or more!) goal win tonight.
