Tweet from Liam Moore...

Will the players who live further away be able to get to the ground?

Looking at the pic he's tweeted he has left his car outside Iceland on Saffron Lane.

Nobody gives a **** Jeff, the pitch is immaculate so the game goes ahead in front of an empty stadium with whichever players can make it in. Got to love Sky.

The director/producer for Sky has also had to abandon his car a mile or so from the ground and walk.

Stringer on RL saying this is a Police free fixture so they will have no input

It will go ahead as Stringer says that it is a Police free game so the Club will decide whether the game will go ahead. What do you think will happen. :icon_bigg

which is in direct contradiction of what sky have been reporting, that the club were awaiting police advice.

If the official advice is not to travel unless essential how can the club justify it going ahead?

right i'm setting off. i may be gone some time

You don't have to travel. The game is for the TV audiences now, we know this so I can't understand all the shock. It's ridiculous that the game is going ahead but not in the least bit surprising.

My wife is still not home yet from the city 90 minutes after leaving for a waht is normally a 20 minute journey.

The club will not cancel. They have the Sky money and the money from 16000 STs. They will not be bothered about missing out on a couple of thousand walk-up/slide-up fans.

From a footballing point of view we are in good form and Middlesobor' aren't necessarily. They also have Emnes and McEachran out don't they? So in normal circumstances it would be better for us if we could play it today than have it cancelled but with the weather how it is I guess things like the form guide probably go right out the window anyway as we saw with Ipswich last time we played in bad snow!

I'm sure I read that Boro had a host of players back including the names you have mentioned.

I guess you read a more recent report then. I read McEachran and Emnes were both out amongst a couple of other names. Think it was on BBC sport match preview, but I read it a day or two ago so it has probably been updated.
