I quite like listening to Matt Piper, he's a very good motivator. Whenever I hear him commentating, I always think to myself "I could do that".
 
I didn't even know this game was on. Just looked up my webfeeds after getting back from my wedding yesterday.

Good old Frank Sinclair.

Hopefully we will be off to Wembly this season! Not sure if it would be a good thing or not, with 46 league games to play.
 
having just sat through that match for 90mins all i can say is, it's very apt that its called the Johntones paint trophy because at time it was like watching paint dry

I know what you mean, but it's a chance of a day out at Wembley and none of us would turn that down would we. Well, we would if we could guarantee promotion instead I suppose!

OK, so we were playing a team from a lower league with what was on paper a pretty strong starting line up and we did shit and had to rely on penalties, but hey, we won and as one of the regulars on here always reminds us, better to play shite and win than play gloriously and lose.

The crowd figure shouldn't be mocked either. I know the tickets were cheap but well over 8K was a pretty good turnout for this competition I reckon.

Whens the draw for the next round?
