The talk of him and Iheanacho being much better than loads of people think is just tosh really. It just doesnt reflect the true picture of what we see. Successive managers have been blamed for 'under using' them but this is too convenient. They haven’t been under used, they have been used when we needed to use them and that, primarily, is their role; stand-ins. There's a reason loads of folk think they aren't all that. They have eyes. If you take every game they have played and mark, as a percentage, games where they have had a positive impact and played well, both would struggle to get to 50%. Consistency has to be part of the equation if you are judging a player's contribution to the club over time.
