Not sure perhaps that Knockaert or David Nugent have the fitness and perhaps in training Knockaert didn't have the necessary attitude that Pearson wanted.

Perhaps, but our transfer situation means we need to sweat the assets we have. It's worth remembering that Whitbread has performed well in this league in the past. Vardy wasn't very good last season but I always thought it was a mental thing rather than anything to do with ability. He was always just that bit reluctant to get a shot off, and too willing to pass the all when he was in a dangerous position. We're just going to have to hope he has worked on that element of his game.

Pearson doesn't have any choice but to pick players who were crap last season anyway. Since February only Schmeichel and Morgan have been anything but utter shit. We have what we have.

That line-up has mid-table mediocrity written all over it. How the **** have we got here when two years ago we had Yakubu, et al.
