As long as the bid is not a silly one with loads of risks then i can't believe anyone is going to be as stupid as to turn it down.

It's ok as well sayin concentrate on what is going on on the pitch ... WE ARE. On the pitch we are a very poor side facing a real threat of relegation. We have a honest manager but maybe not the right manager. We don't have a pot to piss in, poor squad etc. The only way we can see out of this is uncle Milan digging us out the shite. these are pretty desperate times
That's the fecking problem, that word terrifies me, that's so far been why we are where we are. They are fecking stupid

The board only hold about 38% of the total shareholding between them, so no they can't make the decision.

They can put forward a recommendation to shareholders.

With our shareholding alone we couldn't block the deal no, but we hope when the official bid document arrives it is one that is good for the long term future of the club & in that case we would fully support it, we will wait & see.

What happens if the FT members vote in favor of a deal, that you feel will be harmful to the club? some of your members might not be as objective as you.

i ask because many of your posts in the past, and recently suggest that decisions, or at least the criteria for decisions, are being made (or implied) before consultation with your members.

will you be recommending a decision to your members, or will the bid be offered to members without any suggestion?

thank you for your time.

So far in relation to the takeover the FT board have had to make the decisions due to timescales involved. The 21 day shareholder process however does give us the time to consult members.

The FT board will meet before the members meeting & decide then the exact format of the meeting & whether we recommend or not will form part of that discussion

thanks. how does MM feel about you making the details of his bid 'public' though, does that concern him?

Radio Leicester are reporting that MM will get the rest of his money from AG this week before he submits his offer to the club, and that LCFC aren't concerned by the news.

MM was on our train up from London on Saturday, and one of my friends asked him if the DD had " thrown up any skeletons in the cupboard". MM said " no, otherwise I wouldn't be going to the game today".

According to today's Daily Star

Milan Mandaric has dismissed suggestions he is still the co-owner of Portsmouth while trying to negotiate a deal to take over at Leicester City

Milan Mandaric has called press speculation that he may not be able to complete his Foxes takeover a 'joke'

Sunday newspaper reports claimed that the Serbian businessman could fall foul of FA rules if new Portsmouth owner Alexander Gaydamak did not complete his buyout of Mandaric's Fratton Park shares.

"It is a joke as far as I am concerned," he blasted.

"I know the regulations of the FA, and I would not have opened talks with Leicester if what was being said in the story was true.

"The man I made the deal with (Gaydamak) has lived up to all his commitments, and there is no problem at all. I have no shares in Portsmouth at all now and I will not in the future.

"I am surprised that this story appeared at all, but we have bigger fish to fry now and I am hoping the deal with Leicester will be completely finalised as soon as possible."

Fans FC - I know not the most iron clad of sources

for me the fact that no-where has picked up on this supposedly groundbreaking story by the notw says it all about the validty of it's claims

It's hard to know.

"The man I made the deal with (Gaydamak) has lived up to all his commitments, and there is no problem at all. I have no shares in Portsmouth at all now and I will not in the future.

Is true. Whether the Milan Revocable Trust still holds 50% of the shares in Miland Developments 2004 Ltd, which is the holding company of PCFC is probably a more important question. Certainly, when the annual return was filed - 2 months after MM said he had sold his remaining shareholding to Gaydamak - it still did.

Yes - it looks like the FT is going to be disappointed......and hopefully MM will provide the momentum to prevent our plummet through the lower divisions.

Sorry about that FT!
