Would you care to join in with everyone else and wish him pain and misfortune for the rest of his career?

I don't wish him any harm whatsoever.

I do hope that Man City have a terrible season and he regrets the day he ever thought of leaving .

I dont have any ill feeling against Mahrez and from reports today the injury isn't bad at all.

The only player I really felt a grevience against was Denis W**e.
I really hoped the little shit would get injured or get sent off every time he played elsewhere after leaving City.

When he played for Millwall and Gerry Taggart took exception to the little twat, playing for Stoke I think, it was absolutely great. I was hoping an opposition player would take him on for every game he played tbh.

Of course, the difference between W*se and every other ex-player is that charges (and ideally a jail sentence) should have followed the circumstance by which he became an ex-player. That he was instead able to turn it in to an opportunity to squeeze money out of the club was criminal on behalf of the club

I'd rather go with what we have.

Not good enough to warrant going back for someone who wanted out.
He's a much better player than Silva, Iborra and King. I couldn't care less if he wanted to go, I'd rather watch DD every week than the other 3 pretending to be footballers.

I'd rather we bust a gut and tried to get Loftus-Cheek on loan. Reportedly he wants to play, rather than sit on the bench at Chelsea and he did well at Palace last season, so it's worth a try.

Disagree. Iborra for me is a better footballer.

Either way, he wanted out and he got out, now he'll have to reflect on the fact that chasing the big money isn't always the best choice.

He could ring Steve Sidwell for tips on what to do next

Me too but in reality, DD is probably a more accessible option.

Time will tell I suppose but at the moment, Iborra has done the square root of **** all to be considered anywhere close to DD in terms of passing, tackling or assists. He is either 'adequate' or completely anonymous and this seems to have continued into preseason this year where he has been largely ineffective.

I couldn't give two tosses about the fact he wanted to leave or why and I can't see any sense in holding a grudge. If Mahrez or Kante, both players who showed strong desires to leave, were to have a stinker next season and we had an opportunity to re-sign them I would snap Man City's/Chelsea's hands off because not doing so would be cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.

The thought of Drinkwater in Puels system makes me want to cry.
This makes no sense. We were desperately missing someone who could pass from deep and tidy up in the middle last year. Drimkwater would give us this. If anything, he'd be perfectly suited to Puel's choice of style.
