Yeah, who in their right mind would want five wins, two draws and one defeat from his eight games in charge eh?

It's much more fun getting beat every week.

Nigel is our manager and he has made it clear that he has decided that he is not going to be sacked.

Results are immaterial at LCFC.

Burnley have equalised at 10 man Chelsea

Could have been worse today...only Hull out of the bottom 8 teams with a win.

The Burnley result is frustrating from my point of view as IMO it means Chelsea will almost have to make sure they don't drop points against other smaller teams - aka us. They've dropped two today which means they'll ensure they'll work twice as hard to beat us.

I hope we win tomorrow - will be watching from Argentina with a bunch of Argies!!!

Sounds cosy enough, but Whatever you do....don´t mention "The War":icon_wink

Exactly. Thought it's a shame Villa did so well with their new found confidence.

Just goes to prove that theory that wins do nothing for confidence. Better off losing, truth be told.

Once again a ref has a howler. Chelsea should have had two penalties and Burnley a man sent off. Not only deciding games but could have a real impact on the title and relegation. Fed up of it even more now.

Just going through-it on MOTD, shocking display to make so many mistakes. No consolation but we won't see him again for a few weeks

Absolutely no consolation - it's not the refs faults, it's the decision makers. This sport is desperate for better technology.

Some fans say that we haven't done as well as we could've done, or that we don't have enough quality, which might be true, but honestly we could be a lot closer to the teams around us without these errors. It could go both ways, but given the ref performances this season, and from what I can remember we would be doing better.

The problem with technology is where do you draw the line? Off side? Bad tackles? Penalties? Fouls? Lots of decisions are open to interpretation. Even with TV replays lots of decisions in rugby and rugby league are contested! Just look at England's first try last week. In addition people who say that this will not hold up the game are fooling themselves. Every decision will be contested and the referees, already weak will refer everything.

That would easily be overcome by a "time-out" system or similar, like tennis.
