I'm alright, I can get away with with wearing an XLB, which is about a tenner off the full price!

I think it is a pile of crap!

Why did they have to make a good idea look so cheap and nasty. I can't see where on the winning design there is a great f*cking patch with the logo on it.

Manky, really manky!

I think they have given what was a essentially a copy of a shirt from 20 years ago an up to date feel. The original design would have looked ludicrous IMO.

With you on this. I was looking forward to this shirt, but having seen it, it does look like it was made cheaply. I'll still buy it though. :icon_redf

Fair enough. Its a free country and you can wear what you like. I won't be though. I really liked the idea, but it doesn't live up to expectation. The main problem is the Alliance and Leicester logo.

You're right, it doesn't look like it's part of the shirt, more of an after thought

I wouldnt let that concern you too much, once it goes in to mass production it will probably be different.

Not overly concerned to be honest.

Silver is nearly in tears though...
He'll be alright one the English hooligans get locked up, he can rake in some money defending them, all else will be irrelevant then.

I hope you're right there Boc!

The more I look at it, the more I believe that I wasn't right. If the plastic slab that is the A&L logo panel doesn't look better in real life than it does on the photos, this is going to be a really unattractive shirt - and will be hell to shift.

Still - why should we worry - there'll be plenty to buy cheap at the end of the year! Great loss of oncome for the club though - when are they going to see sense?

Personally I think that the last three shirts (including this one) have been so similar when viewed from anything other than close-up, that there hasn't been a real need to buy the latest one straight away. This year the three factors (1. unattractive shirt, 2. one-year design, 3. similarity to the last two home shirts) will work together to make this the lowest selling shirt for a long time.

Is there a new Goalkeepers shirt ?

There's a whole new goalkeeper's kit - green, green, and gren!

The slab on the front could be a response to the complaints about the raised style A+L logos peeling off. More likely though is that they have been used as a stop gap for these prototypes.
