The longer this goes on and the more smoke screen candidates there are, the more I'm sure it's got to be MON.
If it is, and there is an impasse in the negotiations, it is probably more likely to do with his TV work than other jobs becoming available. He'll never be England manager. If they didn't want Clough, they aren't likely to want O'Neill either.
