What about Tommy Wright? I'm sure no-one has mentioned him, he must be up for a player-manager role....he can't be content at Grimsby.

Thought I'd post it as people seem to have forgotten about Hughes.....

I tend to forget all about the decline of the Carolingian empire, in particular the influence of Charles The Fat.

Please update me if anyone tweets about that. Thank you.

Ian dowie at 33:1 looks like a good bet - he's been interviewed and has extensive chamionship level experience (tho most of it bad)

my gut says it's between dowie and roy keene - either of which could see this great club nose-dive into a tail-spin and waste the good platform built by sven

the only reason to sack sven would be to bring in someone better, not worse... And that means only one man, martin of the o'neils

To be fair to Stringer, at least he's not making bullshit speculation like all of the national newspapers have been doing ever since Sven was given the boot.

He has to try and offer something new though as that is his job, if he had simply came out and said; 'I, like everyone else, including the elite people of TalkingBalls, know absolutely sweet fcuk all about who the next Leicester City manager will', he would have got a load of abuse for not doing his job properly! He is probably just as desperate to know who it will be as much as any of us on here but the fact is, no one, apart from the owners know what is going on.

Bookies have been proven to be way off making people favourites only to rule themselves out shortly after, newspapers have said we will appoint Mr X and has proven to be shit too. The owners are very good at keeping this information under wraps, there weren't any whispers of Sousa or Sven being appointed when they were so we are just going to have to sit tight and wait and see.

Personally I've gone beyond caring who we appoint as whoever it is will be sacked if we don't go up this year and if we do then win!!

Stringer says Dave Jones is still interested in the job but hasn't been contacted by us. Seems we can rule that one out.

F*ck. Off.

I'm actually warming to Bob Bentley.Seems to have some interesting ideas & despite being a poorly constructed Frank Sidebottom tribute has gravitas.
