It's funny, I don't remember anyone nominating for player of the season or being in the top 4 or 5 players of the season in 09/10. I remember myself saying at the time on here that Fryatt was a far superior player and I'd much rather have him in the team and I remember others on here echoing that. I think the general consensus was he was a decent Championship player who had potential.

Then as soon as he cried after missing that penalty vs Cardiff we got facebook groups and people declaring him a "Leicester legend." I swear that one display of tearful remorse put his stock up with Leicester fans and Leicester fans' opinions on how good he was up about 300%.

Doesn't even come to mind when I judge him. I don't think he's good enough to be starting in a title winning side that we hope to be, however I do think he's good enough as backup. Hope he takes his chance tonight as It's good to have the odd player like him in the squad.

I'm sure we were.

We still are. We're just playing in the wrong division at the moment owing to some unfortunate results in the last five or seven years.

Problem there is ,yes he is fit, but im afraid not match fit, to be honest i feel for the guy ,but maybe tonight will be his chance to prove hes a true striker.(sven give him a go)

Why would he not be match fit? He's had as much of a pre-season than anyone else.

Very reckons we'll have no new striker for at least a week, I suggested that maybe we couldn't get Maynard until after we play them and he seemed to agree.

If we had a serious offer in, BCFC would 'rest' him so we don't injure him. If say Wellens, god forbid, broke his leg, it scuppers their big pay day.
If he wants to join us, to get promoted with us, he is not likely to try very hard to get three points off us is he?

That's a crying shame.

OTIB would have been the most amusing site on the net had Maynard scored on his debut against his old club.

Southampton supposedly in for him now....
Rumour's only come back to surface because they've sold a youngster with an unbelievably long name to that PL team managed by that Frenchman for an outrages amount of at least £12m.

In the end, it's all agent's talk in order to increase the "value" of a player. They just want a big snippet of the cash for hardly any labour involved.

Chairman Colin Sexstone live on BBC Radio Bristol 2.00pm
