this sounds like complete bollocks, however if he was to go to either of them i would be shattered and probably cry like a forest fan at the end of the season. O'neil would also go down in my estimations and wouldnt be the god he is to me at the moment.

please let it be a joke.

dont know why im being so serious the more i think about it the more ridiculous it seems.

Rubbish.

Currently available jobs - Boro, Charlton,Palace, these are all far more attractive than Derby.

Remember Sunderland is also up for grabs, and he is a self confessed Sunderland fan....

I used to live in Sunderland and they reckon he is goin there. Last time i looked you could get odds of 3/1.

I gave the guy who told me a million reason why he wouldn't go there, but he was certain he will go there. Don't believe him though. Derby will announce their manager this week. IF he did go there, he'd still get a hero's welcome back. Wouldn't he?

Certain people on here were certain that Mike Newell and Steve Cotterill were going to be our managers too. :icon_roll

This is more likely IMHO.

Clive Woodward has been offered the manager's job at a Football League club...

It would be a 'big' name, just not necessarily in the world of football.

So would Ron Atkinson. Let's start a rumour.

just read this on the bbc site :098:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/default.stm

Martin O'Neill must decide whether he wants to be Middlesbrough's new manager by Tuesday. (The Sun, Daily Mail)
If O'Neill does not take over at The Riverside, the Niall Quinn-led consortium trying to take control of Sunderland - apparently the club O'Neill supported as a youngster - is also more than keen. (The Times, The Guardian)
Nottingham Forest have chanced their arm with O'Neill as well, trying to tempt their former midfielder into an "emotional return". (The Guardian) But if, as expected, Forest fail to convince O'Neill to join them in League One, the club are poised to appoint Northampton boss Colin Calderwood as their new manager. (Daily mail)

FFS just bring him back here. Kelly could go back to coaching the lads!:icon_lol:

I makes just as much sense as going to fecking Middlesborough. For a start it is a shite hole, and for seconds they have the exact same ground as us anyway. Except ours is bluer, and might I say better!

Yes they might have a lot of 'talent' but where is the challenge in that:icon_lol:
