PES v Fifa-the 2009 battle!

i've always been a PES lad, fifas never really appealed to me, the only thing it's got going for it is the licenses and leicester are on it. i think i'm one of the last people around to only have a ps2, i'm not building myself up for an incredibly different PES this year cos i guess konami will be paying all their attention on ps3, xbox 360 etc and will just change the players for ps2 version...

Downloaded the PES and FIFA demos last night from Live and can honestly say I'm underwhelmed. PES plays like a "plastic" kick about game, reminded me of the games from the 90's, really poor. FIFA I don't like the fact that they have changed some of the buttons around and the game is nowhere near different enough to warrant buying whilst I have '08.

I played the PES Demo on the PS3 on saturday, it was good, i like the way the ball is passed around and quick free kicks, i hate the ball being used, i am sure it will get better its only the demo so i still hope the offical release will be much better then the demo

I'm doing a league 1 season as Leicester on world class difficulty. 1st at the minute by a country mile, lost only 4 games all season. First time I played Leeds a thrashed them 4-1 :icon_lol: they are currently languishing just above the relegation zone.

Not for me anyways, I am on third level of difficult and finding it difficult.

I'll still buy PES and probably play that more than FIFA I reckon.
