Managed to get my 2 tickets online. It took over 2 hours in the queue. I then tried to buy 2 more tickets for my son by assigning them to his registered member number and using the 'find seat closest to' facility.

It looked promising but suddenly I was just plonked back at the start of the queue! Fortunately my son is in the queue already so I'll let him get them.

Just read on the LM site comments that a bloke with a season ticket, that missed the Friday deadline, tried to buy a ticket at the members deadline time only to be told it was members only and he had to wait until general sale!!! Now that stinks!!!

2 Season Ticket holders I know were at the front of the queue on Saturday morning having arrived back in the country at 1am that morning & they got tickets

Question is though.....Do you get up early tomorrow make it down the Walkers for 8.30am, freeze my cock off but comfortable in the knowledge I will get a Cardiff away ticket or do I have a lie-in, chance it at 10am and face a smaller line or possible no tickets.

What ya reckon folks?

That's truly ridiculous and unfair.

Who makes these decisions - you have to have no intelligence whatsoever to let that decision go through.

On a related issue, I continue to think that less than 50% of the tickets to any game being available to fans of the two clubs is just wrong. Surely the 'football family' could make do with a 20% allocation.

I put my postal application in today for away leg tickets (I am P1 so hopefully will get processed tomorrow). It rankles with me a bit that being a ST holder for many years, going to most away games for many years and being P1 still might see me miss out as I can't get to the ground tomorrow due to work commitments. But here's hoping...

To be honest Hazz, I don't think going down later tomorrow is chancing it - I'd be quite surprised if all 2000 went on Day 1.

At least we seem to be a bit more organised than Fulham with our allocation proceedures ...

It was worse than that.

We got an e-mail from the official tour agents overnight and went first thing to their site to book the full package, including tickets. Later a notice appeared on the site saying "Tickets not included, buy them before booking". By that time it was too late - all gone, leaving us with nearly a grands worth of travel & accomodation.

Apparently the club had told them they would get their usual allocation, but then changed their minds! They were beseiged by people in our position, and managed to get tickets for us all later in the day.

Normally they are very good, but something seems to have gone badly wrong lately. The night before this happened we turned up to the Hamburg game to find our tickets didn't work. After lots of excuses they finally admitted a cock-up, and we got seats in the extended press/UEFA freeloader seats, immediately in front of the ones we should have had. Our seats had been given to Hamburg fans! Quite a few other people were in the same boat.

Mrs G is seeking a meeting with one of their big cheeses who she has had dealings with in the past.

Iv been to every home game for the last 2 years and 5 away matches over that same time period.

What does that mean in terms of getting an away ticket and when do they become available to me ?

It means sweet bugger all cos you ain't gonna get one.

Even though Im a season ticket holder ?

Hmm, so whats my chances of getting a Wembley ticket then ?

10,000 + season ticket holders, 2,000 Cardiff tickets :102:

Wembley tickets shouldn't be a problem I wouldn't have thought

There's a difference of at least 28,000. We've got 2,000 tickets for Cardiff away - I would expect we'll get at least 30,000 tickets for Wembley, should we get there.

I would expect we'll get at least 36,000, that's what clubs have had in the past.

I'm wondering what will happen if Blackpool get to the final.

I think their average attendance is around 8,000, so it would be ridiculous to give them 36,000 tickets which they could struggle to sell, when genuine Leicester fans won't be able to get one.

In the JPT final Southampton got 44,000 tickets and Carlisle got 25,000. Southampton sold all theirs and could have sold a lot more. Carlisle only sold 21,000. A similar allocation for our match, if we get there, would be fair :)

The latest situation with my membership is that I have just been contacted by the ticket office to say that I can’t have a membership but I can have a home leg ticket if I want one. Ive told them I am actually on holiday for the home leg (which is true) but wanted the membership for when we get Wembley! Hehe. They have gone away to discuss it with the chief exec and get back to me. I would say if you applied for a membership on Monday 26th to keep pushing the issue!
