And then South Korea buys Arsenal that would make it a proper derby
‘Live on Sky Sports Super Sunday, El Classikorea!’

The advert has fast paced, hot soccer action interspersed with footage of missile testing, thousands of jackbooted soldiers marching and an image of Harry Kane pointing a revolver at a blindfolded Arsenal player with a cigarette in his mouth.

It's incredible that Sky haven't shown the last one of those already, really.

Football be ****ed

The default defence of the takeover seems to be "every owner has skeletons in their closet, football's already dead, any fan would want to buy success for their club". Nothing means anything, everyone is a bastard so just look out for number one by any means necessary and never take a stand. It's the same sort of logic used by selfish, backstabbing arseholes everywhere to justify their actions. How depressing.

Barney Ronay;

In this light the comparison with Ashley, the assumption that Newcastle has finally found its prince, seems to involve a degree of cognitive dissonance. Infuriating tracksuit vendor v blood-stained dictatorship. Zero-hours sport-shop contracts v beheading 37 people in a single day. Hiring Dennis Wise v bombing Yemen. Is it really obvious that one of these – the beheading one – is so much more desirable than the other?
