Oh nooooo!
I flew to UK once, went to Reading away. We were 2-0 down at halftime and it got postponed due to rain.

Did this happen twice? I went to Reading on New Year’s Day 2003 and it was abandoned at half time but it was definitely 0-0.

I’m near certain I went to a game that we were losing and it got abandoned. The details are murky, as were my life choices at that stage.

Only one I remember being at is Forest, but obviously that wasn’t weather. There may have been another at Reading but the 2003 one was definitely goalless. Such a tedious afternoon.
There was another abandoned one at Burnley, new years day 2005. That was also 0-0.
I was at all three.

Makes my 21 hour return trip from east Kent for the 17 minutes before the abandonment pale into insignificance.
I wonder if he'll come back for the Tuesday night rearranged fixture.

I think we had the one abandoned at Reading and two postponed at short notice whilst I was already on my way there. On one occasion I diverted to Aldershot (v Blackpool possibly) and the other to Tottenham (v a non-league side in the cup).

On the other hand these diversions may (or may not) have been because of postponements at Brighton. I'm getting too old for these memory games. I'm pretty sure it was in consecutive seasons though.
