Puel out

Bosz has an absolute nightmare at Dortmund but he did really well at Ajax and brought through you players like De Jong and De Ligt. Had them playing some exciting football too.

Sinisa Mihajlovic is a complete nutter and might scare some good performances out of them. Did well at Samp and Torino but probably doesn’t speak English.

Whoever we go for is a massive risk, every manager has bad jobs on their CV.

wasn't being critical of Blanc I genuinely couldn't remember

It is 16:14 on Sunday 16th December.

I’m disappointed he still hasn’t been sacked. What is taking so long. Drive him to the woods, open the door, tell him he is free.

Anyone you’d like to see? Assuming we wait until the summer and possibly try to pinch someone else’s manager.

Jardim but I don't think he'd come, would love Julien Nagelsmann but he's joining Leipzig. I still like Wagner and know Rudkin wanted him but couldn't get him and that's why we ended up sticking with Shakespeare.

The German model seems to be the model the club want so someone with experience of that would be a target as for a name I couldn't tell you

I went to the bookies a few years ago to put a bet on Laurent Blanc being the next Man U manager as he played a couple of seasons for them.

He won the league with Bordeaux by winning the last 11 matches. They then went through the Champions League group stage unbeaten, the only team to do so, including beating Bayern Munich twice. Unfortunately, he was then told that he would replace Raymond Domenech as National Manager after the 2010 world cup, and Bordeaux were beaten by Lyon in the quarter final. Lyon were managed by a certain Claude Puel.

Lol at the names you lot are banding about.

Have you seen the type of manager we go for?

If he didn't fall out before the game he will now.

The top players will not tolerate it.

I was surprised Puel survived the end of last season given the deterioration in results and performances from February onwards.

I am generally supportive of what Puel is trying to do, picking young players and trying to encourage a more possession based style, as this is what the vast majority of successful and improving teams are doing.

I am losing faith in Puel because I am struggling to see him taking us to the next level and establishing us as a consistent top 8 team, capable of beating the more financially powerful sides occasionally. We are better than the bottom teams but miles behind the top teams … drifting.

Does that mean I want to see him gone now? No, not unless we have a ‘Pochettino’ type lined up to take over, knee jerk appointments very rarely prove successful. The summer is by far the best time to change manager in my opinion.

The basic problem is that Puel is NOT a football manager. He is a second rate coach out of his depth in this league. The over paid functionaries at the club never wanted a proper manager and have got their way.

Puel and others need clearing out now.

Tough on Puel. Tough on the causes of Puel.
