Global warming isnt a problem! It has been proven that the earth is not getting hotter in relation to the amount of pollution humans create. That is why it has now been changed from Global Warming to Climate Change *

I found your picking up on a typo pretty funny, actually.

The point is that you have no idea if the girls thought "Look, there's a white girl, let's go and beat her up because she is white" or if, during the course of the beating, they said racist things. The court decided that it was the latter. Why are you failing to accept that?

An attack from a racist is not necessarily the same as a racist attack.

I dare bet if was a bunch of whites attacking a black person screaming "kill the black bitch" that it would have been deemed a racist attack, and if you were anywhere near as pure as you make out to be then so would you.

I don't claim to be pure. I claim to abhor racism in all its forms.

I know what you're saying, and I confess I'd probably initially struggle to believe it wasn't racially motivated if the roles were reversed, but in this instance I'm just going along with the the verdict.

You don't like posters getting bogged down on a debate on racism on 'a sodding football forum'???!!!!! Dur! The allegedly racist chants were made at a football match between Nottingham Forest and Leicester City in the FA Cup a few days ago and ended up on a few football forums around the country. That relevant enough for you? Have you no awareness of racism rearing it's ugly head again on the pitch? Chelsea player? Liverpool player? .......and you don't think it's relevant? It seems to me that it's YOU who has missed the point!

....and how would you know that I am a 'he' Mr Alf Garnet? Or just do you make assumptions about everything you little bigot. I don't expect you to back down from your racist arguments, (the clue is in your tag line - even if you are wrong or offensive, you will not make any apology for getting things totally wrong), but at least accept that you are from a generation where it was acceptable to make racist comments against Jews, Irish people, Blacks, Women, African Asians, etc without being castigated for it - you're out of touch and in a repugnant minority...this forum thankfully proves it!
