Bradley Manning.....
Is this thread for fictional 'news' now as well then
Whilst on the subject..........
Why on earth has the BBC got to strive to be so politically correct at all times even when it makes them look ridiculous?
Bradley manning wants to become a woman. Fine, no problem. However, at the moment he is male and has an adams apple and testicles to prove it. So why when a guest on R5L this morning (herself transgendered) referred to him as 'she' did the commentator also feel the need to refer to 'she' for the rest of the interview as well?
It's not fictional. They are actual quotes.
Maybe he's asked to be referred to as "she". Did it really ruin your listening experience?
Not at all. He may or may not have made that request but that doesn't alter his biological state as of this particular moment in time.
Almost as irritating as when people say 'I personally' or, worst of all, 'yourself' when they mean 'you'.this particular moment in time.
I honestly can't see the issue here.

Really?
When the source quoted was "News Thump", UK spoof news and satire?
I personally can see where you are coming from :icon_wink
I might get whooshed here but... if this is true, why isn't it on any legitimate news websites?Every now and then they post actual true stories. Like this one.

No whooshing required, BM. I think you've answered your own question there.I might get whooshed here but... if this is true, why isn't it on any legitimate news websites?
