they just seem a bit weaselly. If I was in power I’d do this, well maybe not. Meh

compared to “no rules were broken” , “£350m a week for the NHS” , “I didn’t know he was a bit handsy”

Which sums up the current poltical shitshow. It's fine for him to lie a bit but not him because I don't support his party or pretend politcal opinion. Gets folk like us non-billionaires absolutely ****ing nowhere. If they're all lying and we just have to accept it then is it democracy? (Ignore that they're wearing different ties)

Furthermore....should you elect a Labour MP and they **** off to be a Tory. Is that cool? It's not good either way IMO.

Can't remember many crossing the floor?

Or is this "Starmer and Blair are Tories because they aren't Comrade Corbyn" type stuff?

Why should Tory MPs be welcomed to cross the floor? Labour even invited more to do so. It has nothing to do with Cornyn or Blair....

I think most people want their individual representatives to be more powerful and for the parties to be less so. Anything that would prevent them changing party (and quite a few more from either side have either defected or suspended to become independents rather than the much rarer crossing of the floor) would run counter to that and just strengthen the whips

If it is to be allowed then a by election should be called IMO. Then what you suggest would allow voters to make that choice. That particular mp referred to his current party as a bunch of ****s just last year.

Calling someone a communist because they would have brought us the same programs that already exist in other capitalist countries in Europe (not even to the extent we had before Thatcher) says a lot about anyone's views. It's anxiously fronted by an arrogant dismissal of anyone with any ambition to actually change anything meaningfully for the better as childish and uneducated, when really it shows you're just an easily swayed moron who thinks post-thatcher policies are the only sensible politics because the largely right wing media only allows for an overton window composed of those ideas.

From last year, but the 10 point promises are in there
That starts with "The Prime Minister is honest about lying" which is utter horseshit and appears to completely invalidate everything else the journalist says.
