Look, no one is suggesting we appoint O'Neil or anyone else for that matter on a 5 year contract. We need a different voice in the dressing room; a voice that hasn't been working under Rodgers for the last 18 months. It doesn't really matter a **** who it is as long as they've got the balls to bin off the Rodgers way and inject some form of fight. O'Neil would probably do that, as would Allardyce. Benitez or even Bielsa. To be honest, I couldn't care a **** about who comes in as long as it is someone different with a voice of their own.

No one is 'living in the past' for **** sake, they are looking at the present and longing for a short term solution. What's the alternative? Stick with dumb and dumber? Pretend we can just go out and get Tuchel, Potter, Frank, Mourinho?

O'Neil would be a useful as anyone else right now in the short term. It's just a different perspective on a shitshow that needs instant change.
