.and I said that it was presumptuous to say that. It is a stand alone statement, I repeat " I am not alone in my mistrust of the FT, in fact I know I am in the majority". You can spin it as much as you like, read that sentance and it can only mean one thing.

But that was not the part of which you said over which I took you to task.

You stated:
Fair do's, but represents his views, not over 50% of the members of this forum.

and I replied that BG does not claim to speak for over 50% of this forum. Read it again. It is all there, if you read it properly.

:icon_roll FFS, you have to back up every statement on here with facts and figures before you are allowed to post

Messageboards
Callers/interviews on Radio Leicester
Letters/quotes in the Mercury
Private conversations with every Leicester supporter I know

All in support of Mandaric

Apologies, but I haven't had time to commission a comprehensive MORI poll, but I will work on it just for you

But you referred to the FT membership, are the above members?

So it's a majority everywhere else, but not on this forum. That's a bit disengenuous, is it not?;)

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions and can post accordingly, but I what always dissapoints me is those who seek to amplify their own with insults.

As for my thoughts I would expect a poll of all fans, similar to the fosse vote, to give the FT a vote of confidence.

I don't have a problem with the FT other than their conceited tatics over the last 2 weeks.

Many of the media/messageboard will be
Many of the people I know are

Now can we have your "source" for the opposite point of view, please

I didn't purport to reflect the views of the FT membership, you did. I have no idea of what their collective view might be, and never have said so. If and when definative bid(s) come in, no doubt the FT will poll the membership as to how the FT's votes will be cast. Until then I haven't a clue, which with the best will in the world, neither have you.;)

Lighten up folks!:056:

Why is it that whenever any decent debate starts on this or any similar forum, somebody comes along and asks people to lighten up?

Do they really think that those who are involved are sitting at their computers in absolute fury, hammering away at the keyboard and causing such levels of stress to themselves that might endanger their health?

I think the debate on the FT is a very valid one and should be allowed to take its course. When all is said and done, the focal interest of members of this group is their support of Leicester City; the actions of the FT are unquestionably at this moment having an effect on the future of the football club and I think it is understandable that people will want to talk about it.

I'm sure that all here are perfectly capable of remaining calm whilst making their contribution.

Oh the scary, scary imagery!

The word is disingenuous - and I fail to see how it is relevant. You suggested that BG claimed to represent the majority view of this forum. He did not.

This will be my last word on the matter.

I'm trying not to:icon_bigg Sincerely hope no-one else is either.

But I'm not sure this is "a decent debate on the Trust". It began with a silly throwaway comment, graduated to a couple exchanges of insults, and is now a discussion about what the precise meaning of somebody's words were.

I'm sorry. I know I said I had had my last word on the matter - but I can't resist just one more.

BG didn't purport to reflect the views of the TB membership; you said he did. He has no idea of what their collective view might be, and never have said so.

Qiute right - it was Homey, not BG, you old fool!;)

It is you, sir, who is the fool - though slightly younger. If you had the time to look back to post #96 of this thread, you would see that I am correct in saying that it was BG (and not Homer) to whom you wrote: "I have to say it's rather presumptuous to say the majority here are anti-trust"

But he implied he was in the majority. My last word on this.
