We are a Plc - you do not have to be quoted on any stock exchange to be a Plc. If you still don't believe me, you can access the company's accounts and annual returns via the Companies House website if you wish ( as I have done ).

Leicester City Plc is in liquidation, Leicester CIty Football Club is however a Plc. There were 2 different companies remember.

Personally, having reviewed their comments below, I trust the shareholders to make the right decision and do what is right for the future of our beloved Leicester City Football Club...............

Hammond Grange Ltd 500,000 (see Alison Nettleton below).

Pukka Pies Ltd 500,000
Greg Clarke 413,000
Trevor Bennett 350,000 - "It's likely I'd go with the board's recommendation. But I may change my mind if I thought it was not in the interests of the club."

HW Coates Ltd 300,000
Jim McCahill 250,000
Michael Edwards 250,000
Kirby & West Ltd 250,000
Andrew Taylor 250,000
AM Widdowson & Son Ltd 250,000
Stephen Lee 200,000
James Johnson 175,000
David Ross 165,476
Foxes Trust 151,000 - Mandaric's confirmation that the bid is £25m comes in the wake of a suggestion from the Foxes Trust that the figure is "significantly inaccurate". In an email to its members, which was leaked to the media, the Trust said it hoped the bid would be "considerably improved".
"We cannot reveal details of the Mandaric bid however we, the Trust Board, feel it is vitally important members are made aware that media reports of a £25million bid are significantly inaccurate.
"The Trust Board hopes the bid received could be regarded as an initial bid which will be considerably improved as discussions progress. As for the alternatives, a number of options are being looked at and we anticipate at some point the Leicester City Football Club board will put forward the Mandaric bid and at least one other alternative to the shareholders to consider.
"At this point we would like all members to answer three questions, as a number of members have already expressed their reservations to us about a Mandaric or any US-based style ownership."

David Wilson 150,000 - "Good idea, providing cash is available for the transfer market."

Peter Hockenhill 125,000 - "I think Mandaric can only be positive for the club. Whether he's here for five years or 10 years, he will leave it in a much more positive position. He certainly left Portsmouth in a stronger position. As far as I'm concerned, I will go with whatever's right for the club and the supporters. If that means me relinquishing my shares, I would do that."

Alan Upton 120,000
Brian Maddison 110,000
Clive Sharp 100,000
Anthony Wheeler 100,000
Dominic SHorthouse 100,000
Donald Kendal 100,000
Gary Lineker 100,000 - "I hope they can come to some sort of agreement because it looks like being good for the future of the club. A team like Leicester needs significant investment in the playing staff to develop.
"I have always been impressed with him when we have met - he seems sincere and dedicated.
"The only thing we have to ask is whether or not Milan can do a better job than us. I believe that to be the case. We just don't have the kind of money you need to build a team that can challenge for a place in the Premiership."
Lineker said the shareholders' commitment to the future of the club remains.
"We are not trying to sell to the highest bidder - but rather to the man who can do most to take the club to the next level, and Mandaric has a record of putting his own money into Portsmouth which shows you he has a real involvement in the game. He has been around for 20 years in the States and in England."
Lineker led a takeover of the club when it went into administration and he said: "Everyone in the consortium had the best interests of Leicester City at heart. No-one was thinking about making financial gain - I don't think we thought we'd ever see that money again."
The former England international, who has 100,000 shares in City, said he had no say in the administrative running of the club, but added: "I do have financial and emotional vested interest. We came in to try and stabilise a club whose very existence was threatened.
"We were never looking to be empire builders or to make money. We were honestly trying to do the decent thing, and even if we get our money back I'm still proud of everyone who came to the help of the club.
"If Mandaric is willing to pay what Leicester City is worth then I think it would work for everyone.
"I would certainly look to be selling most of my shares - although I'd like to hang on to a few. Leicester are still my team after all."

Jon Holmes 100,000 - "Both Gary and I feel that this is a very interesting development for Leicester City. We've got a lot of respect for what Mandaric achieved at Portsmouth and we're looking forward to what he has to say. He has a proven track record and is a football man through and through. I'm going to listen to what Mandaric has to say but I certainly wouldn't want to discourage him,"

Nicholas Wilkinson 100,000
Timothy Days 100,000
Robert Craig 100,000
Roger Paltrey 85,000
Celia Mackay 75,000
Richard Mackay 75,000
Martin Pace 60,000
Roger Pace 60,000
Emile Heskey 50,000
Martin George 50,000
Karin Swann 50,000
Peter Swann 50,000
Peter Freer 50,000 - "You always have to be careful with these sorts of bids. We don't want someone to be here today and gone tomorrow. But I'm sure that most supporters and shareholders, when they have received the details, will probably say the bid is favourable."

Walter McRobie 50,000 - "At this stage, I would be for it. But if there's the likelihood of a better bid with less strings attached than there's likely to be with Mandaric, that too may be worth looking at.
"I'd be happy to sell my shares at the figure I paid for them - £50,000."

Peter Lennon 35,000
Roger Moore 30,000
Anthony Lander 25,000
Alison Nettleton 25,000 - (her father William is a director of the club's joint largest shareholder, Wigston property business Hammond Grange).
"I don't know much about him (Mandaric), but I just want what's best for Leicester City. I want them to do well and get into the Premiership."

Yes. I thought we were now a Private Limited Company. Not that it makes any difference.

So it looks like the Foxes Trust are the biggest stumbling block. Why does that not surprise me!

Good, I think we need to know whats happening before we make any decision. The FT kow what the bid is, therefore if they think it is crap im inclined to agree.

I think you are bigging them up a bit. The only own 2.5% of the issued share capital - not that I don't think that they have the best interests of the club at heart, because I do.

Only one shareholder has come out with what looks like an unequivocal "Yes". 36, including virtually all the largest ones, are not quoted as saying anything at all. That looks like a lot of potential stumbling blocks to me.

Frankly I would be very worried if a significant number of shareholders were saying "yes" to any offer at this stage.

Not that I am necessarily anti Mandaric - on the face of it it could be the best available solution. But there is going to be a lot of scrutiny and negotiating before any shareholder will be in a position to say yes or no.

It's not so much their shareholding but their 'influence'. They are supposed to be the voice of Leicester City fans however I just get the feeling they often think they are more important than they actually are. They have a bit of a superiority complex. Most of the posts on here would suggest that.

Any bid needs to be looked at carefully. Everyone seems to be jumping on the Mandaric bandwagon and he has been very positive in what he said but his offer may not be the best on the table.

Most of the quotes above were taken from the shareholders when they were not aware of any of the details of the bid, we had details of the initial bid.

We believe that the bid has now been improved in some areas but await full details.

At this stage we are not for or against MM's bid & have no details on the alternatives which still seem to be being developed, so we have a list of questions which we want to direct to each party wanting to own the club.

1. Can we still have our seat on the board?
2. How much profit will we make on our shares?

With MM wanting to rush this, will there be any time for asking questions?

Actually, forget that, he loves the attention. Not sure about the others though.

Why don't you just take it at face value. Its getting kinda old now and if you've said it once you've said it a 1000 times.

I really wish you would stop wasting everyones time. No one wants to hear your properganda against the FT, which is totally irrational anyway.

show me the 1000 posts then nobrot... and to be honest I dont give a flying feck what your opinions are.
I am not alone in my distrust of the FT, in fact I know I am in the majority. Read through what others put and also look on other sites. The FT is looked upon as a laughing stock. Maybe they were good in the begining but I am afraid they overstepped the mark long ago.

As for wasting time, read back through all of your posts and you will realise what time wasting is.
IMO FT waste my time posting on here when they have their own site to post on.
Now run along and stop wasting my time please, I am sure you must have some homework to do for school

BG, I have to say it's rather presumptuous to say the majority here are anti-trust. Those that have an axe to grind will have come out against them, but people who feel they are doing OK are hardly going to rush to post that fact. Also, they do not have a seat on the board. Any profit on the shares should be welcomed, as the trust can maybe spend it on sponsoring academy players. In the event of the trust being wound up, the funds have to go to a local sports minded organisation, maybe helping grass roots football. IMO they are not quite the devil incarnate you make them out to be - however, you are fully entitled to your opinion, but don't assume the majority share your views.

But there are sufficient to warrant BGs, or anyone else's, posts about their questionable actions.

He was just responding to the ridiculous post from Fox Fan

That is your opinion and, of course, you are entitled to it. Personally, I am thankful that there are people around, like Boy Genius, who can see the FT for what I believe they are. They have got to the position that they are in largely as a result of false pretences and I believe that people should continue to point it out.
