agree 100%, the Police are there to protect us, they have my trust, and if they think someone needs to be killed, I'll believe them. I bet the rest of the people in the bank are pretty damn pleased the bloke was killed.

if they suspected he was a terrorist and he looked like he was reaching for anything after being told to stop, they'd squeeze the trigger without even thinking. it wouldn't take very long for a couple of officers to offload 7 rounds.

Now if I was in say brazil and there were armed guards at the airport I wouldn’t tend to think feck I better run away from them, even if I didn’t understand what they were saying I would probably think it wasn’t the best idea to do a fecking runner, then when the were chasing me again I would probably think it may be a good idea to stop.

The Independent Police Complaints Authority has already investigated and reported on htis incident. Your understanding of this incident is completely at odds with what was concluded by their inquiry. Huge mistakes were made by the police on that day and the behaviour of deMenezes in no way led to his shooting. In particular he did not run from armed police - this is now admitted by the Metropolitan Police.

What happened last night here in Kent seems to have been completely a different case which will be reported on by the IPC in due course.
