Speaking (just) to two large (no not their size!) share holders they feel ..

QUOTE.. the club is worth more than the 7 million he has offered, the training ground alone is worth 17 million and they will not put more money in....

(they could of also said he's getting a 30m stadium for 15m)

.Read into that what you will

You could argue that they got a bargin then paying £6 million when they got the club

The club is only worth what someone will pay and by the sounds of it they wont pay anything...

He did, despite being tactically inept, imagine how much better we could have been had that not been the case

I agree with you to a point, however we weren't many points from safety in the Prem and he did a fantastic job geting us there. I agree with you though, we could've used a wiser head at times when playing certain sides at the highest level. I guess we should also blame Bassett?

If thats true then they didn't save the club they invested into a 'good thing'.

Rat them out!

Just thinking.....

If the grounds worth 30m,and MM takes on the debt and basicaly becomes its owner, when not if he sells he will ask the 30m + does it work that way??

Can only base it on domestic property

The ground isn't worth anywhere near 30million. That was the cost to build it.

If MM comes in and gets us into the prem i'm sure he'll be able to sell us, lets face it he managed to sell Portsmouth!

Because I am ! It's just my opinion that too much shit is being posted.

So..

your post
Asking 'Tom if he's going on the train, or on the coach' is compelling reading?

The shit post that started this was the opinions of two major shareholders..I watched their lips move...the very same shareholders who's opinions will determing the future of the club....not drivel

.........and part of the saleable assets will be the ground that cost £30 million to build, and I would think he would hope to get, err, £30 million for the stadium element of the sale price.

Why are people so concerned about what MM gets out of it, if he gets us into the prem he can sell us for as much as he wants. I dont care, the current board are taking us no where, at least with MM we will have a chance.

The current board alledge they saved the club and now the first opportunity they get of making money they want as much as they can get.

It shows me a list of players that I wouldn't depend on for the future success of my club. All of these players could have been brought in free. I don't think these players represent a serious investment opportunity for us, not enough to justify spending (x) on their development

For the first time ever I am quite excited by the under 18's and make a point of looking for their results and reports.

In 2 or 3 years time, as most will have reached 20/21, your statement above will be seen as very wise or straight from the Alan Hanson book of football insight (you will never win anything with kids).

I am holding fire before pronouncing one way or the other.
