The annoying, but traditional, totally unfounded Winter 2014/15 rumours thread

I've often thought we should get Scott Sinclair on loan too, but I doubt it's going to happen. After all, if he could rediscover the form of the 11/12 season he'd be a great asset.

I read Man City only want £3m and not a loan.

I hate wildly picking random players as targets but it highlights the Premier League level players available.

The fact we seem to think young Schluppy is God all of a sudden makes me think we are absolutely desperate for some genuine quality.

Okazaki rumours continue to grow, apparantly some German newspapers are reporting that a fee has been agreed, if true shame hes currently unavailable to play for us as he is playing for Japan in the Asian Cup

Doesn't make much difference if he only warms the bench with the other multi-million pound talent while he watches Nugent and Vardy.

I expect any Man City player will have trouble fitting into our wage structure.

If we get £7m for Vardy and this fella in, that's a healthy profit and sounds like an upgrade too.

skysports reporting spurs have accepted £5mill bid from Swansea for Kyle Naughton. Theres also rumours that 2 clubs have approached Swansea about left back Neil Taylor, one is Palace maybe were the other

What is the feeling amongst the intelligentsia: have we done all the business that we are going to within this transfer window? The reason that I ask is that it is well known that Nigel Pearson likes to get things sorted fairly early in a window - no bad thing, it shows that we have thought about, rather than been panicked into a signing. I must say, however, that I will be a little disappointed if no improvement were to be made in the defensive end of the team....

I think the management team have said that there may well be more to come.

We need a new left back and center back. (In fact we need to replace our entire back four). Hopefully Peastain is on the case.

I don't see why. Our problems are in attack, not defence. We are just not scoring enough goals. We are bottom of the division in terms of goals scored but about mid table in terms of goals conceded.

Wasn't it this area that Pearson kept trying to fix during the summer when Leicester were linked to striker after striker, I think at one point he said something along the lines that a possible lack of goals was more of a concern than the defence.

Just the calibre of respondee for which I was hoping! (:icon_bigg)

eeerrr...

Isn't the respondee you? You couldn't hope for it to be anybody else.
