After this World Cup, a lot of people have been saying there'll be a move to three at the back - they should be promoted by Christmas!

Surely we stand absolutely no chance.

Who knows Lako?
All this transfer talk makes signings seem more and more like a lottery.
I´d love to see CW arrive at the KP.......but then I also would have liked Pelle. If the reports about us being interested were true, then I still can´t understand him going to Saints instead:102:

OGrady set to leave Barnsley for Brighton, could this be whats been holding up the Ulloa deal? That said the Delort rumour seems to be gathering pace, maybe a double striker income.

Ulloa has allegedly left the training camp where Brighton are in Spain, to head back to the UK.

Reporter for local Brighton paper 'The Argus' confirms Ulloa should be announced tomorrow. Deal in excess of £7m.

Silly money for someone who, on paper at least, is no better than Nugent and Vardy who also already have a great partnership together. Still the game is not played on paper and if he scores the goals which keep us up he'll be worth it.

Now can we please put the striker situation to bed and please concentrate on the much more urgent matter of improving the defence.

Not a huge amount in the scheme of PL transfers. Just seems like a lot given our history and where we've come from.

Still, I hope he can live with the large expectations (and the probable booing).

For a 28 year old unproven at Premier League level - and who failed in La Liga, which is equivalent to the Premier League - it is a huge amount though.
