Maybe. He's a leader and has a personality about him which is desperately needed.
However, he's been sliding as a player for a couple of seasons now and he has only really been effective in a back three.

I’ve said this before, but we massively lacked leadership in the dressing room last season. This is the main reason I think he’d be a good addition.

1 premier league team that was a nats cock away from going down and another one that was in the relegation mix for most of the season.
Cody would be fine for 1 season in the championship but no good if we got promoted back to the premier league, a season long loan in the championship would be ideal but having him in your starting 11 in the premier league would be desperate

We can't afford principles. He's out of contract next year and too expensive.
He's got to go to whoever is prepared to pay. Just facts of life for a relegated team.
