1-1 almost F/T. Mattocks played the full 90. Dicky hasn't come on.
 
On Talksport they were raving about Mattock, really proud of the lad. 17? Brilliant. Well done all those in the Academy.

That's what I'm afraid of, we have a huge talent in the club, we've got to make the most of it.

Good game last night, Joe's not lightening fast but reliable at the back. Got injured once in a strange situation but seemed to be OK.

He'll get the same shite that Stearman gets in a couple of months I've no doubt.

IMO the only hope we have for the next few years is to build a squad around the good or young players we have like Fulop, McCauley, Kisnorbo, Stearman, Mattock, Sheehan, Gradel, Clemence, King, Wesolowski, Fryatt and Hume and add to it with squad players like James Chambers and a few new signings.

Finally with the youth players coming through the academy like Magunda, Sappleton, Ashley Chambers, Kee, McKay, Rowe-Turner etc we'd have a decent set up, but unfortunately it'd be a 2-3 year progression which a) MM won't stand for and b) the fans probably wouldn't either.

I have to disagree about Stearman's inclusion in your list (and Fryatt too though he may be worth an extended try in midfield). He is, or has become, a poor player. The team cannot carry any passengers and the sooner Chambers is released from midfield duty to take Stearman's place the better. LCFC fan's do support good players, but Stearman - like Fryatt - has had two years of poor form. That is too long.
