    Andy King to Everton?

I live in Liverpool so I've got a few Evertonian mates. They're not calling for his blood but a few think he's not been the player of the past few seasons. I'm not saying they're demanding King as a replacement for Cahill because Cahill's crap I'm just saying they're midfield isn't as strong...

    Andy King to Everton?

A lot of Evertonians are pretty unhappy with Cahill and Arteta's lost his legs since injury. Pienaar's just gone as well. Also, they haven't got any money, so they'd be looking to cheap replacements. We wouldn't get 10+ mill from them. As for the striker bit - Kingy's picked up a habit of...

    Derby away

I can see Oakley coming. Sven has seemed really keen to praise him lately. Never easy to predict. But these have been crap since they came to the Walkers. Hope we annihilate 'em.

Forest Away Moved to Good Friday

I can't remember any real trouble at a Derby or Forest match since about 2006. I had heard there was an EDL march in Nottingham on the Saturday so maybe the plod were glad to have the game moved.

    Sheff Utd 0 Leicester 1

I'm still hoping Forest only make the play-offs and fall apart again. I hate seeing them this good. They've done something like won 7 drew 1 in 8.

    Daniel Uchechi

According to Stringer on Twitter Sven has stated that Waggy won't be leaving. This is despite pursued interest from Non-League Nigel up the road.

    David Beckham

I've made this mistake on another board as well and was promptly picked up on it. Fair play, think I might have been successful in trying to wipe Peter Taylor's existence from my memory!
  12. Claridge96

    David Beckham

Too right. Besides, it aint completely out of the question. Sven gave Becks the England captaincy and clearly gets on with him well. Becks likes to do something in the MLS close season and maybe the big European sides have been put off by his injury. The new owners must have some cash behind...

    sousa out

I don't think morale was destroyed at that stage. It might not have been as good as people thought at the time, but we made a bloody good go of it that night down in Cardiff, teams with low morale, where the writing for a downfall is already on the wall, don't tend to put in performances like that.

    sousa out

Sums the position up perfectly for me. I hate drastically quick dismissals of managers in the modern game, and I agree that if Sousa is going to be a successful City manager he's going to need time to implement the massive changes he seems to want to make in our style of play. Similarly, the new...

    sousa out

I don't I'm afraid. They were god awful. Results like yesterday's send us down. The Reading fans sang at one stage: "We're winning away, we're winning awaaay, how shit must you be, we're winning away." Think that summed the result up.

    Fans 1 Stewards 0

The attitude of some people on this topic is a complete surprise to me. I have a season ticket in L1 for the atmosphere this season, and personally I find the lack of atmosphere at our ground to be an embarrassment. A strong atmosphere is historically the attraction to the game for many...

    Walshy out of order

I can understand the perspective that professional footballers have their own lives to lead and, at the end of the day, they sign a contract to play football, not to be role models in society, but I don't buy into it. People in the public eye should be more responsible. Saying that, even...

    Walshy out of order

In reality this season Yann Kermorgant hasn't demonstrated himself to be a valuable asset in a promotion chase, but the move to another country may mean he could require time to settle in. That's a decision for Pearson to make based upon his assessment of the player and the man as a whole...

    Pre-Season Games

Seems strange. I've mentioned this on another thread. Why have we not got any pre-season friendlies sorted yet?

A Sign Of Things To Come?

Strange article. There's a number of things I don't understand. I suppose there isn't any up-to-date financial statements as they've just released the 08-09 season's. I don't understand why the ground is so expensive to run. We haven't got £26million pounds worth of players, and selling one of...

    Jay Spearing

No room for Nicky Adams (and dare I say it - Yann?) Just playing devil's advocate, neither of them are first team material imo but may do something for the squad. Agree on the three signings, if not Waghorn we need a striker certainly. Just wondering, if Cardiff are going to be in as much...

    Blackpool Promoted To Prem

Lack of humility and childish behaviour isn't the way to describe it. After all the time, money and passion invested by fans in a football club they reserve the right to make whatever opinions they wish about those accountable for the clubs successes or failures. What Holloway has done in...

    Blackpool Promoted To Prem

I must say, I'm impressed with the amount of 'bigger' people on this message board and the restraint and humanity you can show through adversity. (That isn't meant offensively, I genuinely am impressed). I f*cking hate Ian Holloway. Season in season out the often doomed 'big club' debate with...

Alex Bruce set for Foxes switch

Did enough for me in the two play-off games to warrant splashing out on, especially with the Brown scenario. F*** me

    Wayne Brown rumour

Well said. No wonder we looked a bit shell-shocked Sunday. Testament to the squad for pulling their sleeves up Wednesday night.

    Player Contracts

Could be the case. I've not heard anything like that, but I thought at times (Peterborough away) he's looked like he didn't quite fancy it. Maybe that was just a fitness issue. Either way, I think he looks to have a bit of talent and we should have a closer look at him.

    Player Contracts

I've heard that it was quite a surprise around those quarters that they let him go on loan in the first place, I'm just being a pessimist and assuming that Keane wouldn't let us and that Bruce isn't out of his first team plans for next season yet. Could be wrong, it's only an assumption based on...

    Player Contracts

Would like to see Bruce, Vaughan, Solano, Waghorn, Spearing here next year. Think there's no chance of that happening with Waghorn. Bruce or Spearing I'm doubtful we'd be able to, but if we could we should. Vaughan and Solano need one year deals. Word is on Merseyside Moyes has tired with...

    Kermorgant

I've kept the jury out on him up until now. As somebody else has said on this forum (can't remember where, new to this business!) I'm not looking for a scapegoat for last night. However, it's clear we have a good team spirit and I get the feeling Yann (struggle to spell his surname!) hasn't...

    Memories

By far and away one of my favourite moments following City. Shame it wasn't the final say on the night. Apart from last night, Gallagher's free kick at home to Forest. It was great to see them sulking out after the hammering they gave us at their place!

Cardiff 2 Leicester 3, lost on pens

It still hurts this morning, but I'm pleased I can wake up and say I'm proud to be a Leicester fan. Our performance last night was fantastic, great away support got rewarded by a great performance from the players. Steve Howard and Nobby Solano, age considered, were fantastic for 2 hours...
