    Games moved for TV

Was thinking more that as both attendances of city and tigers have significantly increased since 7 may 2011 that was the exception to the rule and that both clubs will not be allowed to play on the same day again (regardless of differing kick off times).

    Games moved for TV

May 2011 was before Tigers built their latest stand and increased their capacity. Am sure police, council etc have said that city and tigers wouldn't be allowed to play on the same day (even at different times) due to traffic gridlock/access to Royal Infirmary. And as already pointed out it...

    Final game of the season

Am also glad that the game is on the saturday but am puzzled that as the last day of the season has been on a sunday for a number of years that this season bbc/sky need it to be moved for them to show the games.

    Final game of the season

A fair point regarding home games but then I guess the rugby fixture planners didnt expect the football league to shift the last day of the season from sunday to saturday to accomodate tv money; so would have assumed our game was definite sunday k.o.

    Final game of the season

As much as it pains me to defend the eggchasers, its the football league at fault. When the rugby fixtures were published the last day of the championship was on 8th may. But bbc/sky have flashed the tv cash & the games have moved to 7th.

    Final game of the season

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere else on the forum (apologies if it has) but I've just noticed that following the change, both us & tigers (they kick off at 3pm) are playing at home on 7th May. As both theirs and ours are the last games of football/rugby seasons neither game can be...

    How are you feeling....

I've got lucky socks that will be worn, plus a lucky city t-shirt that waiting to be put on.

    How long have we waited!!

I couldn't make it to derby play-off final and had to watch it on tv so palace was the 1st time i'd been at wembley and seen city win, its was sunny and i was pissed. Great day.

    How are you feeling....

I think 2-1 but would love to take a 2-0 result to cardiff. 2 goal cushion would give us breathing space.

That sunny day in may when claridge shinned in still one of happiest city moments. Bring on the bluebirds.

    WBA (a) 3-0

As DJ isn't in Pearson's plans I would guess that he's on loan until the end of the season (with no recall clause - just a guess no facts to base that on). We could possibly not extend his loan for the play-offs. Would be one heck of a show of desperation to recall him purely so he can't...

    WBA (a) 3-0

We've scored goals before/won games this season, think they need to believe they can do so again. Are fcuked no, are we looking decidely rubbish at the moment hell yes. Hopefully that we all change on monday. As a precuation I will be taking a hip flask with me so am ready to celebrate/drown...

    WBA (a) 3-0

Ok if you're not going to start with waghorn & gallagher...who? As the goals are hardly flooding in from the rest of the strikers when they've been given the nod.

    WBA (a) 3-0

DJ isn't coming back, he's not the messiah he's...elsewhere. Let's concentrate on staying in the play-offs and getting promoted with the players we actually have available to us.

    WBA (a) 3-0

Forget all this DJ nonsense and play waghorn and gallagher up front together, simple as.

This season, like the season we got relegated, needs to be defined by our results and performances and not reliant on others. Come on city!

    Forest 5-1 City

Having been at the sh*tty ground today and as a season ticket holder I think yep we should grab a play-off place but as for automatic promotion...there's more chance of me winning the lottery tonight (which would be nice and go some way towards cheering me up right now).

    Leicester 2 Blackpool 1

I didn't hear radio leicester post match coverage because I was drinking in the win but a mate texted me and said that Ollie refused to give Radio Lesta a post match interview. The run in

We just need to batter them from the off and a) our defenders...defend, b) our midfield string some passes together and actually put some tackles in, c) our strikers hit the target, d) hope their keeper doesn't play a blinder, e) and when we actually get in front...we stay in front...

Is it too late to get Junior Lewis back from Cheltenham?!:icon_wink
  39. filbert70

    Astrit Ajdarevic

Yes granted but i was on about the woeful lump down field to carlisle defnce that began the chain of events leading to their 2nd. When in doubt/under pressure King does have a tendency to panic or do his ray wilkins impression - sideways, sidesways.
  40. filbert70

    Astrit Ajdarevic

But he is very reluctant to put his foot in and there lies city's problem with teams constantly playing through the middle where there is a lack of bite from oakley and king.
