    Dickov And Savage?

can i also see the gossip please!! I'm another one that often reads this board but doesn't post much. Well done BF for grabbing my attention and hopefully making my day a little more entertaining!

    Where are the Directors?

i have met warwick and he is a really nice guy. He's a huge city fan and has done the club a top deal around legal fees

You adams fans, what do you think now

OK, that sweeping statement doesn't cover Pleat....or Taylor, McGhee, Wise et al!! but on the whole any new manager would be given a honeymoon period by the fans which would lead to the players playing with a bit more freedom. As for the good in the long term, that is a totally different...

You adams fans, what do you think now

i agree with you. I can't see how adams can turn the bad feeling around and therefore can only see a change in management doing that. I feel sorry for him in some ways in that he has been loyal, he is a young manager who is still learning the ropes and has made some very good decisions in...

    The problem this year

i hope so. maybe with the money saved from keown off the wage bill someone with some flair, or agression will be brought in, but i am sure that one of the reasons the walkers is so quiet on matchdays is that we don't have an idol to get behind

    The problem this year

i agree with you. the championship isn't a great league and its not like we are getting thrashed out of sight. The play offs can be achieved and would be a great day out so i don't think the season is over by any means. i just wish we had a some exciting players to make the games more...

    The problem this year

i liked him too! the point remains though, who is the fans favourite now. No-one bows down to williams or stewart when they come across for corners because there just not that good!

    The problem this year

For what its worth here is my take on the main problem at the city... I don't like the players in our team, the manager, the coaching staff or the board. I sat there on saturday and monday and went through the team and couldn't find anyone that makes me get out of my seat and get excited...

What they don’t want you to know II

i agree with this post in the main but as one of the quiter forum members i don't think i sit in any of the categories you suggest (prawn sandwich, scared to post etc...) i use this forum as a way of keeping up to date on city news and views and do enjoy reading some of the posters on here. i...

how do you know wayne rooney?
  11. N

    Sky

yes it is. only draw back is that the statistic originates from the split in population during the second world war and has always stayed that way, so if you fancy bagging yourself a night of group sex with some pensioners, nottingham is your best bet! Enjoy!

    Crowds at the Walkers

don't see what more the club can do though. to be fair to them they seem to have backed adams in who he wants to bring in. i agree with your post on another thread about whether the cash from williams will go on another player, but even without that on paper we have got an excellent squad, we...

    Predictions - Wolves v Foxes

i fancy us to finally get the show on the road. 3-1 City With Williams celebrating his tribunal being out of the way with the opening goal, Dublin getting the second and tricky trev with an acrobatic ........................... when will i learn? i think we'll lose again 1-0

    Crowds at the Walkers

i was surprised at how low the crowd was for saturday. i thought we had a hard core fan base of 25K not 20 - 21K. that said though, given the fickle nature of the 'floating' fans all it will take is a win or two and a couple of goals from connolly and i's sure we'll be up in the high...

    Available for Derby?

i agree. i think he could be one of our best players this year. i was dissappointed that he wasn't in the side on saturday. maybe as some of you have suggested he's just short of match fitness, he did spend a chunk of the summer recovering from an op?

    Same old, same old

whoever did the medical for morris before we signed him should be shot

    Derby on Weds

if you come into pride park from the station side there are a couple of car parks there which are pretty safe. its then about a 15 minutes walk to the ground

    Available for Derby?

i'd heard the same, but i'm surprised if that is the case as i would have thought canero and gudjonnsen especially would have been the first eleven.

    Available for Derby?

Apologies if its been mentioned on another thread, but anyone know the progress on the players that weren't in the squad for saturday. I'm talking about... Canero gudjonnsen Gemmill Morris i thought we missed canero on saturday and i haven't heard what was wrong with him? Anyone...

    Who's coming in for Dion?

i think he will go with blake. was surprised at how long micky left it before bringing him on. wilcox, williams and connolly all looked knackered with ten to go and we could have done with the change.

    L1

considering we were up against it for most of the game i thought the atmosphere was good. certainly louder than most of last season. didn't hear any of the foxes trust 'new songs' though?

    Should Scowcroft leave?

too true :D maybe its the Ipswich / Norwich thing as well and he doesn't want to do it?
  26. N

    Should Scowcroft leave?

I'm not sure. surely scowcroft fancies another crack at the premiership, even if it does mean a drop in wages? or am i being naive?. I would like to see him stay as i think he is technically a good player, it is just his workrate that lets him down, but anything around £750K represents good...

tell me you're joking and don't seriously believe that we have loaned all of our new signings back to the teams we signed them from!!!!!

    Better Squad than last season??

stewart can be excellent. he has pace and a good shot on him, he just doesn't seem to be developing as a player. he is always prone to mistakes. its a shame because when it works for him he looks fantastic, problem is when it doesn't he looks f*cking awful!

    Cheers sky sports!

yep, its the squad MA has bought as well. we have cover all over the pitch and the strength in depth is as good as i've seen it for years. if we get the key partnerships working i.e. connelly and dublin, gudjonsen and williams, and keown and dabizas(?) i can't see many teams living with us.
