King was non existent today.

:102: Maybe you were at the wrong game?

Oakley gets some stick cos he actually runs and tries to make something happen but from time to time, the passing falls short.

:038:

Disappointing thing about Yann was his moaning to the ref and other players.

Yeah, that's Wellens' job.

One Robbie Savage theres only one Robbie Savage.

Is it my fecking age or do city fans have short memories, Mr Savage was a great assett to our great club in the O'Neil era so why oh why do our so called fans berate him shouting w****r, w****r, w****r.
It was bad enough having to listen to them at the game today but to come on here and read posts from established posters doing the same makes me sick. :098: :bang:

For what it's worth he talks a lot of sense when co-commetating on games with 5 live.

The man's been nothing short of disrespectful about the club. Anyone who thinks he deserves our respect is on another planet.

Bless, they've done an us....

Atleast I can take some solace in the fact that we beat ourselves today.

That's harsh. The og was absolutely no fault of King's.

It doesn't alter the fact that his name went on it - and that if he had been truly non-existent that goal would not have been scored.

Today has reminded me that I hate certain things:

Losing
The city of Derby
Fried chicken
People who eat fried chicken on buses
Derby County FC (but not as much as the Chavs)
The word 'Clough'
People who haven't been to a game since Frank Worthington was at school but think their opinion still counts. It f***ing doesn't.
People who would give player disgusting abuse for having a bad game but then applaud his replacement for an equally bad one just because he's 114 and a bit of a character.
Leicester fans in general.
Having to sit amongst Leicester fans at Leicester matches and listen to the utter bollocks most of them come out with.
Et cetera.

If you're any of the above, f*** you.

So I take it that means no-one can comment on the match except you? :icon_conf

BM, I honestly can't remember him making a tackle. That said he managed an OG, so he can't have been invisible!

Then you must have had him confused with someone else. And let's just ignore the fact that he was the best passer of the ball on either side shall we :icon_roll

I think you've misunderstood my intent. Easily done since I put sarcasm ahead of clarity. How about this: I know you watched the game (and you seem to know what you're on about) so I'll take notice of your opinion. Some will have listened to it on radio, and I'll pretend to listen but actually take no notice of their opinion. Others will have seen nothing but the score and drawn their conclusions from that. With these people I won't even acknowledge that they've spoken.

Is that clearer?

So what's that smell all about? :102:

Isn't he supposed have been given his Leicester shirt by Lenny Glover years ago, and so he hasn't washed it since? Or is that just an urban myth.

I wont single anyone out for abuse cos they were all as bad as each other,a terrible game played out by two terrible teams neither side showed one ounce of discernable quality. but please do not talk about but we are still in the top six that excuse belies the football we've played especially since the second half of the Coventry match, as yesterday hopefully was as bad as it gets, but dont quote me on it.

He's got several shirts, and I don't think that's true for any of them. Just like the 'fact' that he walks to every game (he doesn't, and never has) and the bizarre rumours of him dying that seem to come around approximately once a year (he's still alive). What is certainly true, however, is that he's a complete lunatic, and I for one only understand about one out of every fifteen, um, words (?) he says.

You could equally blame the commentary team for their less than incisive commentary then.

In person he's a lovely bloke and seems well-informed and is always, without exception, friendly. I've never listened to his radio commentary apart from the cringeworthy snippets of it we're forced to listen to before home games. So I'm not qualified to comment :icon_wink

I have always envied the credulity of those people who form their opinions on a match through Radio Leicester.

While I accept the right of everyone to post and value all posters when people were discussing Morrison v Neilson or whether King had a good game then like BM I want to hear from people who actually were at the match.
As I only go to home games the question I always ask myself of an away post-match thread is was the poster there.

When it comes to individual games I think the opinions of people who attend games are no more valid than those who watch on tv or online. Attending as opposed to watching on tv is a personal choice - I just feel it's a better experience.

I disagree. On TV you only see about 1/5 of the pitch at any one time and you miss any off the ball runs or play you see when you're actually there.

Not to mention the replays that seem to show over parts of play.

I've just realised it's so long since I watched a live game on tv, I can't really remember what it's like :icon_conf
