How do you expect new players brought in in Jan to gel together on a pitch like ours? Holloway shouldn't be sacked, it's not his fault our strikers can't put the ball in the net, our pitch is a massive factor in our slide into the relegation zone. It's a disgrace!

personally i think using the pitch as a factor is just an excuse, it didnt hamper preston winning or deter bristol city gaining a point did it :102:

Southamton and coventrys pitches are good and we lost on both of them, And when you play a striker on the wing i think the manager can take the blame. No service=No goals.

You miss my point. we've brought in a lot of midfield players who haven't been able to gel because you can't get the ball down and play on our sorry excuser for a pitch. Inevitably that has resulted in a lot more long balls, which of course will filter through to our away games as we're not confident enough to pass it around. The pitch has got us nervous at home and a bobbling ball around the six yard box has caused a few misses in front of goal which has now piled on the pressure on our strikers which has created a stigma. Our pitch is not an excuse its a big reason in our demise. The ground staff have a lot to answer for

Sorry mate i think your clutching at straws a bit i think the reason of our demise is a careless shower of shit being led by somebody that clearly isnt good enough at the position he is in, but we are all entitled to an opinion

My impression is that many pitches are in a poor condition at the end of this winter.

I know one thing - the pitches were a hell of a lot worse In Rowley's day and the ball (and sometimes the keeper) still finished up in the back of the net on a regular basis.

What is actually 'filtering through' is that we have an unmotivated squad and a clown as manager.

ridiculous. You cant turn round a failing company with an inadquate workforce in the period that Holloway has been at Leicester into a success, so why does the rules suddenly change when its football. Leicester fans are among the most deluded set of fans in the country. Holloway needs more time than he's been given, these fans calling for his dead are plotting a course to our own destruction.

In Rowley's day though, it was a team that was comfortable playing in those conditions because they had a team that knew how to play it to their advantage. You can't reshuffle a midfield and expect them to gel immediately, even more so on a pitch as bad as ours. Nervousness creeps in, and away teams are more confident because they know the midfield is unsettled.

Hold on! - some of us just want him sacked, we do not want him to be physically harmed in any way. This is not ancient Rome - dismissal is adequate; human sacrifice is not necessary.

So how long do you give him ? I'm really interested to know when the people who want Holloway to stay would say that he has had long enough.

Christmas. He'd have a summer to bring in permenant players and adequate oppurtunity to get the team playign together. Half a season to show the progress which has been made. Of course if we're in League 1 maybe not so long, i'd say if we're hovering around midtable and not challenging for promotion after 15 games that would be time to call it a day. There's no quick way out of this. We need to give adequate oppurtunity to our managers. Chopping and changing will only make things worse.

I would tell him now that he has all of next season.
May I ask you a question? How long would you give to his replacement before his demise, if things were not going well?

and that would be for any manager that took on Leicester at the time that Holloway did.

Holloway needs more time than he's been given, these fans ... are plotting a course to our own destruction.

Your'e having a laugh aren't you. Good wheeze mate. I just took a look at the league table taking account of games in hand and I can see well enough your course to destruction.

Quote from a QPR fan talking about Holloway, ''He played hoofball with us, and ruined strikers by playing them out of position - most notiably Jamie Cureton who left us to become top scorer. He obviously hasnt learnt form his past mistakes''
Says it all really ... one dimentional, tactically inept. Other teams have seen this, sit back and defend and wait for their one chance.

How can you say the ground staff have a lot to answer for ? It has been said before that Holloway instructed the ground staff to put a roller across the pitch, that crushed all the shit down and has ****ed the drainage system. Even the state of the pitch is Holloways fault !
