Why, oh why, oh why was Megson slated all the way through his very short tenure. Why was this allowed?

Why can't Holloway be judged in the same manner?, what on Earth is the difference.

Please somebody explain this to me.

Please somebody also explain the positives Holloway is bringing to the club.

Maybe my football brain isn't as good as others on this forum, so please, please educate me instead of insulting me for my opinions.

I so desperately want to see the positives.

What i dont understand melts, is if you are so against how the fans treated Megson and find it so unbelievable, why would that make you do exactly the same thing to Holloway in order to just prove a point.

I simply dont understand why your acting in the manner you are protesting about.

The reason Holloway is judged differently is because he comes across better, he's the sort of person you can warm to, and has similarities with O'Neill. Megson isn't like that at all, he was just a miserable ****er and was so negative the whole time.


As for the positives, well it can't really get much worse can it?

Totally agree with your point re Megson/Holloway treatment. It was disgusting how Ginge was treated.

anyone local up for a collective petition to RL about Barber and his inept commentaries....its not just the bias it's the complete lack of focus on what's happening on the pitch...

Exactly, it's a childs behavoir in my opinion. The past is the past simple as that, it's gone so let go. People dont have to explain why they didn't like Megson, thats upto them, but these comments keep us in a possition i dispise.

At the end of the day Megson walked out on Leicester whether he was loved or hated. This would have happened no matter what the initial response was.

Because they are not the same person, why should they be treated the same. People have varying opionions on certain people, that im affraid is football.

I don't see why people are getting so depressed about this particular result. Ipswich have by far the best home record in this division, so did anyone really expect to get anything from the match?
Hull was always going to be the most winnable match of the three away games in a row, anything from Ipswich an Wolves would have been a bonus.

We played most of this match with 10 men against a team that should be in the top 4 if it wasn't for their poor away record.
Ollie needs time to find the best 11 in the squad and I am sure that between him and his recruitment guy Penrice there will be a couple of astute signings in January. Keep smiling everyone ffs.

That has just about bloody done it for me now.

I'm trying to understand what it is about Ollie that everybody has taken to, I'm trying to understand how one Manager can be forgiven for his disasterous start, and another one can't. I'm trying to understand what Olli is bringing to this club, i have asked for help in understanding this.

I have just received two insults, one from Lako caling me childish and one from PK above.

I've had enough, I'm above this and won't be called names for wanting to debate , raise questions and understand. This time, I won't sink low enough to retaliate, I'll walk away.

Because Megson was devoid of any originality, not necessarily a bad manager, but one who can't built from the bottom upwards! The new man deserves an opportunity to build something, constantly chopping and changing won't solve anything, other than putting the players through the ringer yet again due to a change of Manager, and don't forget that it's not just a change of Manager, it's a complete new back room staff they have to get used to, different ideas, different styles of play. And if you think that Megson would have been booted out by now, by MM then your mad, for what ever reason (and I believe we have to put our trust in him ) MM saw good in Megson, and genuinely believed he was the man for the job. I personally think we have struck lucky in the departure of Megson and negative football, say what you like, it was 5-3-2 for my money, and we have struck GOLD in Holloway, a proven track record of achieving exactly what we need, re-building from the foundations upwards!!!
