Don't you just love this bit though

Three league defeats in a row have seen Leeds slip to eighth in the table, 12 points behind leaders Leicester

Oi, TheShites, where are you?

At least he is pointing blame at the players and not Mac.

I think Mac is trying to make them play football, but he has a bunch of halfwits built around one man who he doesn't have available at the moment.

I so hope we win on boxing day!!

Gotta love the quote from Leeds fan on the article

'Delph - The New Bremner'

Delph is a young, black, attacking English midfielder whose got a superb shot on him whilst the other is a moaning, white, dirty Scottish defensive midfielder. The similarities are striking.

Typical thick as **** Leeds fan then really.

The club can confirm that all of the 2,924 ticket allocation has now been sold for the League One clash

You can't use names in Scrabble, and even if you could his name doesn't include any high scoring letters.
Being uber-pedantic, you can use names. Smith, Cooper and Fletcher are all names, and acceptable in scrabble. :)

I think you have lost your German ü somewhere on the way.

Or perhaps uber is correct in English? I'm not really a pedant so I'm not sure.

He probably doesn't have an u umlaut (ü) on his keyboard. He could write it as ueber to get round that problem. :icon_wink

Having seen the word uber in common use on SSX for the PS2 I thought I'd get away with it.
Any road, it was nice to correct Jeff for once.

Edit: From Wikipedia

Spelling
The normal transliteration of the "ü" ('u' as an Umlaut) when used in writing systems without diacritics (such as airport arrival boards, older computer systems, etc.) is "ue", not just "u"; however, it could be argued that the English language use of the word uber is a new word distinct from ueber. This is because English is defined by common use of words, which dictionaries and academia record, not the reverse. The use of 'ü', 'u', and 'ue' in the word is an emerging trend in common usage in English with no clear consensus.
