This may have been a blessing in disguise as it clearly showed to challenge for the top 4 we need to spend some money in January to strengthen in certain areas. Let's also not forget that we played with 10 men the whole 90 minutes today as you can't count Ulloa in the first half or Dyer in the second half . Had they actually not been on the pitch our stats for possession would probably have improved !

They all looked tired from the beginning. I wondered if they had been celebrating the New Year a little too much.
It was lucky we were playing Bournemouth (although they ran their socks off) as a better team would have punished us for all the times we gave the ball away.

I didn't hear any booing around me at the end of the match and all players were given a standing ovation when substituted so I'm surprised to read that there was supposedly a negative reaction in other parts of the ground at the end.

It may have been small pockets but there definitely was near me in the Kop. The atmosphere in general seemed far more flat than usual.

No dropping of points can ever be a blessing, whether disguised or not.

I'm right in the middle of the Kop, and they got a standing ovation, as they have all season.

Didn't hear a single boo

I'm in SK4 and I heard a few.

****ing fickle ****s.

Plenty of negative reactions around me including the sarcastic cheering of Ulloa when he controlled the ball.

It's amazing how quickly our fans are able to make themselves look like stupid pricks.

I heard the booing loud and clear in SK4, I was in absolute shock.

These silly ****s don't ever deserve to attend the KP again.

I snapped at one of the blokes sitting next to me and told him that if we scored now he didn't get to cheer. He let me off because the silly sod is my granddad, but I think he knew he'd gone too far.

Sure they weren't booing the ref ?

Must be the new plastics, if not, surely ?

Anyone else booing at the team is a disgrace, even if we were a bit shit

I thought the atmosphere was actually half decent for saying it was the new year fixture.

I wasn't in a position to add to the atmosphere after a rather heavy few days.

I heard the booing from the family stand and just assumed it was for the ref. Plenty of people stuck around to applaud the players.
Did hear 1 person say they where now extremely worried about our season though, which seemed a bit much.

There were lots saying the strikers weren't good enough for us. Despite the fact theyve been good enough so far.

I wouldn't wonder if they had been over celebrating. It's been an issue at many clubs at this time for many years. I doubt if many clubs can easily control their players at the festive season - players have most of the power in the game. However, the players are tired and there are too many matches in a short period resulting in increased risk of injuries.

However, all is not bad. Matt B's season - long patient watch to identify and report on acts of dissent by fellow supporters has at last been rewarded. Quite rightly Matt is not deterred from singling out even elderly relatives.

Ha I was expecting it to be honest but, bar Saturday, the fans have been superb this season. Then again, this is the first real slip and test of our character.
