They certainly don't look very motivated, in fact from Gally's comments they see themselves as an automatic favorite.

Maybe the players need to take some responsibility to motivate themselves.

If the players are over confident, as Lako suggests, and i suspect he is correct, then surely it's the managers job to sort it out?

I know the players have to take responsibilty, but there is clearly a problem, and Sven is employed to deal with those problems. I don't doubt Sven's ability, and arguments about championship experience are complete nonsense in my opinion, so i'm wondering if Sven himself has a motivation problem.

And Roy Keane has won (as a Manager)........?

A contract with Sunderland despite being unproven.
A contract at Ipswich despite being found to be wanting in Management abilities.

He is (was) a very lucky man.

He is very calm and rational at all times.

Sometimes people need to be called a useless **** and have a kick in the ribs.

Why? Do you honestly think he knows the players in this league and the style of play of other managers of this league as well as managers who have managed at this level for years?

Pretty impressive to take Sunderland from 23rd in the Championship to promotion in the same season, followed by astute buys to keep them in the Premiership.

Wasn't he helped an awful lot by Fergie lending United players to him?

I would gladly have a manager that, through his contacts and status, can bring the players that will help us to gain promotion. We all thought that Sven had these attributes, but how wrong we are.

Sven did a great job at Notts County, Ivory Coast, Mexico, England...

Does it matter? Roy Keane is a poor manager and a total wankstain of a bloke.

What would he bring to the table? He took Sunderland up as favourites for promotion, then spent a lot of money and nearly got them relegated. He then went to Ipswich and proved a very, very expensive failure.

Sven actually did a decent job at three of those jobs you mention.

I don't think anybody would doubt that Sven has contacts and status.

SGE wasn't manager at Notts County, why bring that up? All he had was a small backroom role.

And he did do a decent job at both England and I don't see how you can say he was a failure at the Ivory Coast either.

Roy Keane has better contacts and status than Sven? WTF??
