I think it's always good to have polarity.
In fairness, I think it's a great idea to insist JFH plays for a month before making any permanent decision. I think MA possibly always insisted on this but MM went ahead with trying to sign him anyway.
Why ?
We've never done it before
We didn't do it with Carl Cort, or Casino Jimmy or any of the 10 other feckers we have signed
Are you signing the Hasselbaink's record is more suspect than any one of our other close-season signings ??

I suspect his current attitude might be. Plus his wages would not be far off several of those signings combined, MA possibly thinks that money could best be spent elsewhere. He's only the manager, I know ( for this week, anyway ).

Cort, Jimmy etc are nothing like the risk of JFH in both wages and disruption.
How likely do you think it is that MA will be shown the door? Be a complete ****ing joke if he does.

a lot of little risks = one big risk
why do fans worry about the money side of things.let mm worry about that.
as a fan i want to see the board make a few big gambles.
how can people say that jfh would be ' useless, lazy, disruptive and here for a last payday' to name a few, when he hasnt even kicked a ball for us.
on the one month trial period- he would probably take a couple of those weeks to settle in and get fit, he then has two weeks to probably rush about trying to make an impression, only to not impress.
put your self in jfh shoes, what option would you be more comftable with, the one above, one month or a one seaon deal where he has time to settle in and build
so jfh was offered 3 x everybody elses salary. sourceBecause if some big shot comes in on 3x everybody else's salary, and it disrupts the currently fragile team harmony and it has a negative affect on the players then it directly affects the fans

Players who think like that should not be in the side. A professional team is not an equal opportunities employer.
