Mattock will use them in the same way he used us. If he is fortunate enough to attract the attentions of a mid-table prem side within the next year, the old transfer request will be going in again.

I know the fee is undisclosed but how much are we talking roughly? 1.5-2 million?? Does his fee also go down as he handed in a transfer request therefore making it easier for W.Brom to complete a transfer?
I personally think Mattock has great composure but will be too lightweight in this division.

If Mattock has a good season in the Premiership, he is quite likely to have some offers from highest division clubs at the end of the season. I don't think he is overly worried how WBA will do as long as he gets a Premiership contract.
The same thinking as the majority of football players.
