One thing is start skiing. The stoping is the most difficult part. How did she do at that?

He did that by me holding his reins. Hard work though.

My daughters are already pretty good, to the point where I was struggling to get my 9 year old out of the jumps park and half pipe. Makes me feel old, as they've got far less fear than I have now.

Fear is a capacity you adapt as you get older, when it comes to skiing.

I agree.

After skiing for about 8 years as a kid, I've been snowboarding for the last 18 years and I've only got back doing some skiing when I've been with the kids (for that last 6 years when I take them), so it's quite nice now that my daughters are at an age and ability where I can now board with them while they ski. I've been out there for two of the last three weeks with them so am in full winter sports mode at the moment.

That's good, since the cross country world chamionsship just started. But I guess you don't get that on tv over there(?)

At the bottom I have:

Sunderland 37
Aston Villa 33
Leicester 32
QPR 32
Burnley 32
Hull 29

Staying up by the skin of our teeth on goal difference! I think this year will require the lowest points total ever needed for 17th place.

I do... I would suggest a thread but there might be some animosity + I suspect it is almost provocatively uninteresting to non-Scandinavians

I'd read it. I much prefer Alpine skiing, which I watch religiously, but I like a bit of Nordic too.

It seems to have skipped a gam for a few teams.. bit odd

Very very strong suspicion that this will not happen... But I have a feeling that with Huth / Upson, if Nige has the balls to drop Morgan, we might actually keep some clean sheets
