Finally got around to watching Drive. 8/10 from me, I loved the direction but felt it lacked something I can't put my finger on.The soundtrack was brilliant though.

Hunger Games: 8/10 Great first half setting the scene and decent second half. Now off to read the books.

In terms of historical accuracy it's probably a load of bollocks, but I liked the story a lot.

The Devil Inside.

Didn't expect it to be any good, I got dragged along to be honest. Its basically Paranormal Activity but with possessed people, and like PA it just finds the quickest way from one jumpy/disturbing sequence to the next and pretty much leaves the story telling out.

Run Lola Run - 6/10 - Nice bits of direction and the girl is fit, but didn't really see any point to the film.

Blow - 6/10 - Some good bits that I recognised from reading up on Escobar previously, but not Depp's finest work.

Carnage. 6/10.

I didn't think it was a laugh-out comedy at all, but quite a few in the cinema were clearly of a different opinion as they were consciously trying to laugh at precisely everything - extremely annoying and it's the reason why I prefer to watch films in the comfort of my living room. But then I am probably utterly miserable as a human being.

It's originally a play and I think it works much better on stage.
