Beyond enemy lines - poo 1/10

Role Models - 7/10 good fun

Last Orders - 8/10 really touching, good story, very believable.
I used to find them words very emotional too. So sad in fact, I used to cry every time I heard them.

Now that I don't drink, I don't find them so sad.

Has anyone seen both; Role Models & Yes Man? I'm torn between watching one of the two tomorrow night. Please don't ruin what happens in either of the films.

Lako liked Role Models, I'm not going to see Yes Man, I like the book way too much to have it ruined by an American take on it.

The author, a mate of Ian Collins, who took over from John Gaunt on talksport.
Sounds very interesting on how he came up with the idea, and then carried it through.

Danny Wallace. If you haven't read the book then I would recommend it.

I am Legend 8/10, really enjoyed it, not seen or read the story before so had no baggage or preconceptions concerning how it compared to the 'original'.

On a similar note to I am Legend, the movie adaptation of "The Road" is due out this year which is an even bleaker view of the world post-disaster

Danny Wallace, is that the guy that started his own country?

You've got to teach the world to sing
Danny Wallace is the king

Were two lines from the national anthem if I remember correctly.

Pineapple Express - 5/10 - Really disapointed with this, funny in a few places but otherwise crap.

Bright Young Things - 8/10 - Stephen Frys directorial debut, very good, funny and extravagant.

Appaloosa - Western, not as bad as some, viggo Mortenson was good 7/10

Burn after reading - managed 20 mins, didn't laugh once, crap 1/10

Lakeview Terrace - Well acted but not a fantastic movie 6/10

Yes Man- 4/10. IMO there were only a couple of funny moments in the film; but on the whole I think it was quite repetitive, predictable and a huge disappointment.

Jim Carrey has aged a lot since I last saw him.

Jim Carrey is the same in every movie.

You've clearly never seen Man on the Moon then.

Very emotional film and very well acted. It's an excellent film and he's superb in it.
